The Solemn Charge of an Evangelist:
"I charge you, in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingly power: proclaim the word; be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiousity, will accumulate teachers and will stop listening to the truth, and be diverted to myths. But you, be self-possessed in all circumstances; put up with hardship; perform the work of an evangelist; fulfill your ministry."
~ 2 TIMOTHY 4:1-5 ~
Catholic Evangelization mission statement:
This profile is dedicated to Catholic Evangelization. That is, this web page is dedicated to the proclamation of the good news of the Gospel message as revealed and transmitted in and through the Holy Bible, in the tradition of the Church, in the writings and lives of the Saints and Church Fathers, and through the Magisterium of the Church. This site is here as a resource for catechesis, apologetics, exegesis, and for the promotion of a general understanding of the Catholic Christian faith. This profile attempts to maintain a high degree of fidelity to the Holy Father and to the Magisterium connected to him. This profile promotes fidelity to authentic Catholic faith and strives to firmly uphold all the legitimate doctrines of the Catholic faith. This web page is dedicated to fostering and advancing what Pope John Paul II called "The New Evangelization" in the hopes of reaching out to people in the modern world and calling them and helping them to live a life of genuine faith in Christ through the one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church.

The "Oneness" of the Faith:
"I, then, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace: one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all."
~ EPHESIANS 4:1-6 ~
THE NICENE CREED:
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures;
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in One, Holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. AMEN.

Prayer for Evangelization
Loving God, you called each of us by name and gave your only Son to redeem us. In your faithfulness, you sent the Holy Spirit to complete the mission of Jesus among us. Open our hearts to Jesus. Give us the courage to speak his name to those who are far away. We pray that every person throughout the world be invited to know and love Jesus as Savior and Redeemer. May they come to know his all-surpassing love. May that love transform every element of our society. We ask this through Christ, Our Lord. AMEN. Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us. St. Paul the Apostle, pray for us.

Popular Catholic prayers:
These are absolutely beautiful prayers.....essentials for every Catholic's personal prayer life!

THE LORD'S PRAYER (OUR FATHER)
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread
and forgive us our tresspasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
for Thine is the Kingdom, and the power,
and the glory both now and forevermore. AMEN
~~ Gospel of Matthew 6:9-13 ~~
THE GLORY BE
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. AMEN
ANIMA CHRISTI
Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O good Jesus, hear me. Within Thy wounds, hide me. Suffer me not to be separated from Thee. From the malignant enemy, defend me. In the hour of my death, call me. And bid me to come to Thee. That with Thy saints I may praise Thee. Forever and ever. AMEN
THE DIVINE PRAISES
Blessed be God. Blessed be His holy name. Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man. Blessed be the name of Jesus. Blessed be His Most Sacred Heart. Blessed be His Most Precious Blood. Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar. Blessed be the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete. Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most holy. Blessed be her holy and Immaculate Conception. Blessed be her glorious Assumption. Blessed be the name of Mary, Virgin and Mother. Blessed be Joseph, her most chaste spouse. Blessed be God in His angels and in His saints. May the heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time. AMEN
THE PRAYER OF SAINT FRANCIS
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me bring love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. AMEN
PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
Saint Michael the Archangel defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and the snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan all evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. AMEN
GUARDIAN ANGEL PRAYER
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day or night, be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. AMEN
SALVE, REGINA (HAIL, HOLY QUEEN)
Hail Holy Queen, Mother Mercy! Hail, our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
V.) Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God,
R.) that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. AMEN
THE MEMORARE
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come; before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. AMEN
THE HAIL MARY
Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee! Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. AMEN
THE MAGNIFICAT OF MARY
"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God, my Savior!
For He has looked upon His handmaid's lowliness;
behold, from now on, all generations shall call me blessed.
The Mighty One has done great things for me and holy is His name.
His mercy is from age to age upon those who fear Him.
He has shown might with His arm,
He has dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart.
He has thrown down rulers from their thrones
but He has lifted up the lowly.
The hungry He has filled with good things,
but the rich He has sent away empty.
He has helped Israel, His servant, according to His mercy,
according to His promises to our fathers,
to Abraham and his descendants forever." AMEN
~~ Gospel of Luke 1:46-55 ~~

On the Love of God and Christian Love:
"Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begottten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. In this way, the love of God was revealed to us: God sent His only Son into the world so that we might hae life through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as expiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another. No one has ever seen God. Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is brought to perfection in us.
This is how we know that we remain in Him and He in us, that He has given us His Spirit. Moreover, we have seen and testify that the Father sent His Son as Savior of the world. Whoever acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God. We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us.
God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. In this is love brought to perfection among us, that we have confidence on the day of judgment because as He is, so are we in the world There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love. We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," but hates his brother is a liar; for whoever does not love a brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. This the commandment we have from Him: whoever loves God must also love his brother."
