Sean Myracle is one of America's best up-and-coming DJ/producers. A DJ for more than 10 years, Chicago native Myracle has been igniting dance floors with his blend of bangin'house and funky breaks all while incorporating his signature blend of wicked scratching and turntable tricks.
Growing up in Chicago, the Mecca of all things funky, Sean was introduced to the scene by way of rock, new-wave, hip-hop, and hip-house - a combination of hip-hop vocals over a house beat, and a staple Chicago sound at the time. Inspired by these sounds and those who played them, Sean began to practice daily.
Many long hours of daily practice paid off in 2001, when Sean beat some of the best talents electronic music have to offer and claimed the title Best DJ on Galaxy 105 FM, a highly acclaimed UK radio station, while rocking a crowd of more than half a million people across the world. In 2003, another extremely distinguished radio station, Arizona's Power 92.3 FM, recognized Sean's talent by awarding him the title Best House DJ in a competition of thousands. The secret of his success? Sean says his winning formula is simple: he plays for the crowd by playing for himself.
As an avid club-goer, Sean understands the need for a constant energy and the desire of the crowd to be apart of the show. He makes this energy happen: live remixing-taking two of the same record and arranging the song to play in a more peak time manner, scratching & beat juggling- hip hop techniques used to flare and spark crowd reaction- used over house beats, and interacting with the crowd- dancing behind the DJ booth and provoking the crowd to play along. This luminous vibe Sean creates is what sets him apart from all the others in the line up.
Most recently, Sean has been showcasing his skills across the globe playing alongside some of the best in the world: Bad Boy Bill, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Richard Humpty Vission, just to name a few. He can also be heard regularly on DJ Lynnwood's Los Angeles based global mix show, Interference Radio 99.1 FM.
Not content with the awards, global competitions, weekly broadcasts, and the highly infectious impact he has brought from Chicago to the West Coast, Sean is broadening his reach with the 2006 birth of his co-inspired record label, Synthetik Records. Synthetik will host releases from many of the top talent in the world including Sean and long time friend, label mate, and partner-Cody Williams-under their production pseudonym System22.
