About Me
Spudd was born and raised in Junction City, Kansas. He began his career in radio carrying records for EZ Street of WKYS 93.9 in DC. While EZ Street was a college student at Kansas State University Spudd was right by his side watching and learning the radio business. Soon EZ Street moved to Dallas to work for 100.3 and Spudd stepped in to EZ Street's position at Kansas State's DB92 Jamz. After a year Spudd worked at Power 94.5 in his home town of Junction City. Upon graduating from high school, Spudd followed his passion and packed up and moved to Dallas, Texas to pursue his love for radio. Starting out as a phone operator at 100.3 Spudd was soon promoted to producer and soon thereafter obtained an on-air position. While there, Spudd worked with Russ Parr, EZ Street, Lisa Lisa, Neke, Tom Joyner, and Helen Little. After two years at 100.3 Spudd moved to Tulsa Oklahoma to work at Fresh Jamz 105. After two years in Tulsa Spudd arrived in the 'D' as the nighttime personality at Radio One's 105.9 Jamz. After two years of hosting nights, Spudd advanced to Program Director and held the position as PD and Afternoon Drive Personality for six years (now HOT 102.7). While there, Spudd hosted the highly acclaimed, sometimes controversial, talk show "Real Talk", conversing with the likes of 50 Cent, President Bill Clinton, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, Robert Greene, Presidential Candidate John Kerry, and many more. After a nine year career in radio, Spudd switched his focus to concentrate on independent goals, including his voice over career. Promos include, but are not limited to, such clients as Screamfest, R. Kelly's Double Up Tour, Reebok, and Al Wissam. Continuing with his entrepreneurial ambitions, Spudd launched "Eight12Ideas", a marketing, artist management, and production company that produces marketing solutions for companies and production for films, tv shows, and of course commercials.
