Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan Ms. Nia never forgot where she came from grew up directly behind Motown Hitsville USA. She began writing and performing at a young age of 12 years old. Since then she has devoted her heart and soul to the stage. Most fans remember her as 1st lady of Rock Bottom Ent. Along with all stars like Big Herk, J-Nutty, Black face, T-Dot Reign, and Tango&Cash.
Now as a solo artist, Ms. Nia is speaking straight fom the heart, Her lyrics are more revealing and intimate she challenges her listeners to take a closer look at themselves and their surroundings.
Whether on the mic, or on the camera, she is engaging and provocative. Most recently she appeared in the independent film, "Project 313"- a gritty urban drama about street life in Detroit.
