Now for some randomness about me:
I have that dry sense of humor and sarcasm that some people just don't get at times. For that reason I feel the need to explain myself a lot. I believe there is a reason for everything although you may not always know the reason. I believe in fate, but I also believe you have some say in what happens in your life. Destiny can knock on your door, but you have to open the door and let it in. I usually always speak my mind, sometimes at the most inopportune times, and sometimes to the point of being unintentionally tactless or insensitive. Buyer beware, I ask a lot of questions. I don't like to be rushed into things. I don't do bossy or pushy. I don't do sweet or cute either. I make a decision only after studying the matter and weighing all factors, call it an occupational hazard. I can also be totally spontaneous and catch you unawares. I love music and art and anything creative!
Animals are a big weakness of mine. I can't stand to see a stray that's starving or suffering or that looks lost. If I could I would build a huge shelter and save as many as I could. People who abuse animals are the lowest of the low and should rot in a four-by-four cell for the remainder of their miserable, sick lives. I love my family, love spending time with them, and I would do anything for them. I've had an inexplicable love for Canada and Michigan ever since I was a kid. I'm big on proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. I hate when I have typos. I always have to correct them; if I don't it bothers me. I wish I had an English teacher on retainer. I'm not as hard on other people as I am on myself, but I do notice when they are lacking in that dept. and it impresses me when they aren't. I love photography, graphics, GIFs and JPGs. I also like graphic design.
I'm somewhat of a private person, which is why I'm respectful of other people's privacy. That usually conflicts with my inquisitive nature. I'm of the opinion that if you tell me something personal or private, it's your information to pass on to others not mine. It's all about respect, people. But hey, if you want to know something just ask. Chances are I'll answer. I just don't usually volunteer some things unless asked. I'm a good listener, but I believe as I get older I feel the need to state my opinions and be heard more. Why is that? And why do people feel the need to display their drama for public viewing?
I have tried seafood. I don't like it. I didn't like it BEFORE I tried it. I don't care if it tastes like chicken. I'm not eating seafood. (Haha!) I'm uncomfortable with being the center of attention. I'm not very ambitious, by choice. I'm content. I don't like major changes, like moving or changing jobs, but that's a part of life and I deal with it when it happens. I like security and stability, but who doesn't? I get quiet when I'm angry; sometimes I leave the 'scene of the crime.' I walk, jog, hike, pace, any type of movement when I'm extremely agitated, upset, nervous or anxious. I've perfected the cold shoulder treatment, but I don't stay mad for long. I abhor negative thoughts and feelings. They bring me down and I like to be happy and optimistic.
I believe it's better to give than to receive, but take advantage of that and you'll learn it's the quickest way to the door. I'm willing to compromise as long as you are. A person can only give so much before they start feeling taken advantage of and unappreciated. It annoys me when people stare. It's rude! Okay, have a few looks if you feel the need, but must you stare? **Gawd** (lol) I may not like the war or our president, but I support them. Solidarity of our nation is key. I don't debate politics or religion. I have my own thoughts and opinions and you have yours. The end. Thanks for reading me. That's hot.
