Blizz started his career in Hip Hop at twelve years old. Blizz and another artist by the name of D-Trick performed a rendition of My Minds Playin Tricks on Me in their middle school talent show. In 1998 Blizz had discovered a new love Technic 1200’s. By 2001.Blizz was DJing all around the Owensboro area, and was also the resident DJ at Club 101. Also in 2001 Blizz and an artist named Newtral formed an independent record label called Basshead Entertainment. In 2002 Blizz decided to put the turntables aside and focus on producing. Blizz spent all of his time in the studio making beat after beat just trying to perfect his craft. In 2003 Blizz got back together with D-Trick to start working on the Blue Collar Project. Not only did Blizz do most of the production and engineering on the project. He also made his return to the mic featuring on a track called Where is Life Taking Me Now. In 2004 Blizz moved to Orlando and enrolled at Full Sail. He wanted to learn as much as he could about the Music Industry. In 2005 the journey took Blizz to Nashville. He started working at Omni Sound Studios. During his time at Omni he worked on mainly Country Music. By 2006 he knew Country Music wasn’t for him, Hip Hop was calling his name. From that point Blizz new he wanted to focus on his music and his company. In 2007 Blizz and Basshead Ent. took the Tri State Hip Hop scene by storm with the release of Industry Takeover. 2008 looks to be a even bigger year with the upcoming release of D-trick's new album Royce Jackson.
