A rapper, engineer,Song writer and perhaps one of the first youngsters of his kind.young Locsta a.k.a Young Legit, was born on August 5, 1987 in Marietta, Georgia. A product of divorced parents, Legit was raised by a single mother. At an early age, he discovered music was his calling and means for him to express himself. Legit First started experimenting with hip hop at the age of 8. At the age of 12 he recorded his first song, and music quickly became his first passion.He branched out as a artist in his own right, releasing albums and several mixtapes such Da Phantom and Da Repear, which were independently distributed during 2003, allegedly with these releases he struck a massive fan base over years and began to build an audience.Differentiating from most todays industry artist Legit isn't focused on being quote on quote gangsta rapper but being himself. As a member of the Regulatas (now known as r.e.g.s), a group that was formed during his early years of high school he began to build a team of Artist from different locations in the US.Driven by all different cultures and styles of music he branched out as a writer producing,creating, rock and r&b Lyrics.Though legit is consider a Southern based his different styles conflict through all types of urban cultured music from midwestern to underground hip hop and even R&b.
