About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
Hailing from Houston, TX, The World's Most Dangerous Band delivers some good ol' fashion Southern rock and roll the city had not experienced in years. With elements of Blues, Metal, and Punk, WMDB is a must hear, and surely a must see for all music fans. It's a night of never ending stories when these "Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers" get together to perform music, or are just out tearing down the city one bar at a time.John Bonin, guitarist of punk band Booger Prezley, had a vision of putting together an original project of balls to the wall rock and roll. John's Blues based riffs and screaming guitar solos are the driving force of the WMDB.Ironically, John and Ray happened to be co-workers at Guitar Center. Ray has been a working musician in a local cover band Full Release for the last 3 years as a bass player. While covering everything from Marvin Gaye to Tool, Ray had never taken on the challenge of writing and creating his own music. When presented with the opportunity to join the WMDB, Ray took the bull by the horns and began the writing process with John. They hired a session drummer to help build the foundation and direct the writing process.Ash Hendley, drummer for New Orleans based band Each Sold Seperately and fellow Guitar Center employee, transfered to Houston after hurricane Katrina in late 2005. As soon as Ash got behind his kit and played the first song, John and Ray realized the band had been taken to the next level and became that much more dangerous. Ash's unique style combined with that New Orleans MOJO is the perfect compliment for the WMDB.Jeremy Golden, vocalist for local Houston rock band Dilate, came back to Guitar Center in November 2005. Jeremy was raised in Baton Rouge, so he and Ash immediately had the Louisiana connection. Jeremy began attending rehearsals and just hanging out with WMDB on a regular basis. Usually showing up with cold beer. One night, after having a few beers and talking sports with the guys, Jeremy was asked to just get on the mic and see what happens. The rest as they say is history.
