♥ Where I Live ♥
I live in a beautiful and quaint German founded town of 36,494 people. Above is a photograph of our Downtown "Plaza". It's a one way circle that goes around the Main Plaza and the Gazebo is in the center. There is also a historical fountain there as well. Just above that you can see the Old Courthouse. At Christmas time, it is completely lit up with white lights. It's absolutely gorgeous! I will put a picture of it up in the Winter.
We have some really great attractions here and they definately bring a ton of tourists during our Summer & Winter Months!

♥ Favorite Things ♥
I enjoy watching movies at home cuddled up on the couch or going to the movie theatre. I have always been fond of the ocean. I have a great passion for gardening. I love for my yard and gardens to look their best and full of color. My favorite foods are Chinese, Asian and Italian. I love to chat and meet interesting people ... You can never have to many friends.
I am an avid animal lover. I have a 5 year old Miniature Dachshund, a 15 year old Turkish Angora cat, a 8 year old Himalayan, and a 7 year old Maine Coon.
My Dachshund "Haley" is MY heart! She and I are very close. She has to be with me all of the time. She has ways of talking to me by making little moaning sounds. She thinks she is a human being and therefore she must be treated like one!
She sits up most of the time on her hiney when I am eating at the table, or on the bed. When people come over, she sits on the couch with her short little leg on the armrest! All my friends say, "She looks like a penguin!" LOL!

I am 41 years old and single. I have been here on MySpace since December, 2004. I am looking to meet people who have the same likes and interests as I do. I'm also looking for friends in my area, new people to hang out with and to expand my horizons a little bit.
I have been single since September of 2000, so I am really out of the dating scene. Eventually, if the right person comes along, I would love to be in a long-term relationship. I really miss having a loving companion in my life. Someone to share all of the good times & the bad times with. Someone to cuddle up with and share all of my deepest feelings, fears, sorrows and joys with, but first and foremost, someone who will always be my best friend. A man I can totally trust with my heart and soul. A man who is truly genuine inside and out, financially and emotionally stable, loyal, compassionate, honest, & truthful. To me, those are the key components of a successful and long lasting relationship.
I have been a Bail Bondsman for 13 years. We have offices in 3 different counties and we also write a lot of out-of-county bonds throughout South Central Texas. I really love what I do. Each day brings something new and different. It never gets boring that's for sure! I do believe in giving second chances to those who deserve them. I try to help as many people as I can to get off drugs and alcohol. I also talk to the younger generation of today (clients) to get out of the gangs and to give up the terrible lifestyles that they are living. I strive to make them understand that they are heading down a dead end road to nowhere.Over the past 7 mo's, I had been working with the U.S. Marshals in trying to apprehend a Sex Offender who skipped on $115,000.00 in bonds on March 27, 2006. He was charged with (2) counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and (1) count of Sexual Assault of a Child. We have 9 months on felonies to get our clients back into custody. We presented his case the last week of August in Chicago at the N.A.F.I. Conference for "America's Most Wanted." They had expressed interest in our case, and the first week of November they were coming to start filming. On Friday, October 27th he was caught! He has since been extradited back to Texas from Oregon and is currently on trial.
Anyways, I love to laugh and cut up, so if you have a witty and outgoing personality, we should get along just great. I am very laid back, friendly, and easy to approach. I believe that I am a very compassionate person when it comes to people. In my profession, I deal with a vast array of people, most of them are convicted criminals, so I can usually spot a BS'er or a con-artist right away. So, please don't try to run your games on me or cover up your flaws and your past. Just lay it all out on the table with me. Honesty is always the best policy in my book.
I am very open and modern and I am not here to pass judgement on anyone. I am not a snobby, stuck-up person either. I respect people of all creeds, ethnic backgrounds, cultures and religious beliefs.
I love web design, graphic design & designing MySpace profiles for my friends. When I have the time, which has been very little lately, I enjoy hanging out here and having fun with the *awesome* people I have met. I love watching movies, my animals, playing online games, and making the people in my life feel like they're number 1. It's always been a quality of mine to spoil the people who mean the most to me.

♥ My Heroes ♥
My first hero is God. I thank Him everyday for getting me through some of the most difficult years in my life. After being a passenger in a head-on collision, I have endured years of pain and recovery. If I didn't have Him to give all my pain and anguish to, I don't think I would be here today.
My second hero is my father. He always let me learn things on my own without ever restraining me too much. Of course my mother never agreed with this and it often caused them to argue alot, but they are still happily married to this day! When I fell on my face, then in my fathers eyes, I learned something. I just got back up, dusted myself off and went on to the next obstacle in my life. I now know why I am the strong and determined woman that I am today. He has always told me, "You have moxy" and that, "if he left me on the streets of New York with only the clothes on my back, I would know how to find my way home."

Thirdly, my heroes are all of the men & women serving our country overseas, fighting for my freedom. Also, my sincerest thanks goes to the Police Officers, Firefighters, EMT's & Paramedics for their hard work and dedication. They place their lives on the line to save our lives, to keep the peace, and to keep the streets free of sex offenders, murderers, drug dealers/addicts, drunk drivers, robbers and the like. They don't get the recognition they deserve for what they do...So, I personally want to say, "Thank you!"
