Mulele

New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Los Angeles and now Tokyo again --- all have served as home to Mulele Jarvis at various lifepoints; all three cultures have shaped his unique vision. A passion for Japanese Manga led him to formal training at Tokyo Animator College. His own explorations drawing the characters around him during long Tokyo subway rides embued his drawings with an urban life all their own. Describing his art, Mulele comments, "“There's a mixture of American and Japanese Comics behind my work, shorn up by a plethora of music, a smattering of film and truckload of Ramen.”You may have seen his work published in Dark Horse Comics, or a variety of other clients in Japan and America.More to come soon.
