My name is Matthew T. Zeis. Most perfer to call me Matt...uhhm...Hi, and welcome to the About me section...this is where I'm supposed to tell you things about..well, um, me I guess. Be forewarned, I dont lead a very active life, so if the fear of dying of boredom is more than your heart can bear, I strongly advise you Turn Back Now!!That said, lets get on with it. I was born on Sept. 26 1987, making me 19 ^^. I attend Palm Beach Community College, and make fairly decent grades. I don't have too many friends that I "hang" with outside of school but there are a few. I have a few of my pals come over and jam with me, or I go over there and play Halo 2 or something. I enjoy reading, mainly vampire and fantasy novels. I need to start reading my Bible more often though, which brings up another point in my life, I am a Christian...albiet, a strange, and unlikely Christian. I love Heavy Metal, and feel that being a Christian shouldnt narrow one's scope in their genre of music. In fact, quite the contrary in my case, It broadened my horizons. My favorite bands are:Sonata Arctica, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Slayer, MetallicA, PanterA, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Stryper, Hammerfall, Blind Guardian, Nightwish, Saxon, Armada, Brand New Sin, Demons & Wizards, DIO, Falconer, Edguy, Evil Masquerade, Helloween, Jag Panzer, Steel Attack, Nocturnal Rites, Emperor, Wuthering Heights, Anthrax, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Black Label Society, Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, Dokken, Dream Evil, Dragonforce, Evergrey, At Vance, Synergy, Arwen, Andromeda, Crystal Eyes, Deep Purple, Fifth Angel, STRATOVARIUS, Tarot's Myst, Ten Years After, Therion, Timeless Miracle, Wizard, Exodus, Fireball Ministry, Firewind, Gamma Ray, Guns N' Roses, GirlSchool, Poison, Type O Negative, Motorhead, Iced Earth, Nevermore, Kamelot, King Diamond, KISS, MANOWAR, Motley Crue, Pink Floyd (not metal, but wonderful classic rock), Queen, Savatage, Shadows Fall, Skid Row, Testament, Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Andy Timmons, and Yngwie Malmsteenwell, that out of the way, lol *takes a deep breath* I also enjoy playing video games. I own a PS2, and am constantly playing RPGs or Action/Adventure games (to the tune of Devil May Cry, Bloodrayne, Prince of Persia, Metal Gear Solid, and the like), I also like First person shooters ::Still plays Doom 2, you just cant beat the classics::. Lately, I've been playing Final Fantasy 11 like it's a drug. It's so damned addictive.Outside of reading, video games, and this contraption that they called a computer, I also play guitar. I'm not too good at it, but I've only been playing seriously for two years or so. I aspire to play in a heavy metal band, but if I dont become the worlds next Zakk Wylde or Randy Rhoads, I'll still keep playing. I at least aspire to be a shredder on my "axe". I own three guitars that I rightfully dub as being mine. I own a Wasburn BT4 (my first guitar) an Ibanez DX 1550 Prestige 3, and a Gibson Flying V (Very much 3). I also "own" what I call the family heirloom, A Wasburn 1977 Falcon. My dad bought it back in the day, and it was made just a few years before Wasburn stopped making guitars hither in the U.S., so it is of great value to me, and I abstain from playing it.I used to take Martial arts, Tae Kwon Do, to be more specific, and I loved it. I was sad when we had to cut out of it, but my Mom got laid off and whe had to make saccrifices, but oh well. My kicks are just as high and just as hard as they were when I was still in it. I attained a senior red belt, just one away from my black belt ;_; I like to fancy myself as being pretty good, but I know I'm not. I also liked to fancy myself as being prolific with multiple weapons, such as swords and staves, but again, I am well aware that I have a long way to goAnyway, yeah, that pretty much sums me up in a nutshell *crickets chirping* Yeah...I was half expecting that *walks off of his "pulpit" and narrowly avoids a tomato being lobbed his way*
