BIO FRANCAIS
Coït est formé en avril 2002 par arno, schnidre et jo (ex-Malignancy). Après quelques mois de composition, le groupe est rejoint par yorky (ex-Sludge) à la voix.
Début 2003, Coït est prêt et se rode alors sur la scène régionale avant de sortir, début 2004, un CD démo 4 titres.
En été 2004, après le départ de yorky, Coït décide de continuer en trio. Arno se met à la voix et, depuis fin 2004, le groupe enchaîne les concerts avec un répertoire énergique, bien accueilli par le public.
Coït passe une semaine en studio en juillet 2005 pour enregistrer l’album "Brutal Fantasy" qui sort en janvier 2006. En décembre 2005, le groupe part en tournée en France et en Espagne avec Zeppo. Depuis, Coït continue à se produire dans les clubs suisses et prépare la sortie de son nouvel album "Between the lines" prévu pour début 2008.
Coït se définit comme une formation rock extrême. A voir en live!

BIO ENGLISH
Coït is formed in spring 2002 by arno, schnidre and jo (ex-Malignancy). After a few months of composition, the band is joined by yorky (ex-Trom, ex-Sludge).
At the beginning of 2003, Coït is ready to go on stage and is playing a few concerts around its hometown. A four-track demo CD is released in January 2004.
In summer 2004, after yorky leaves the band, Coït decides to go on as a trio. Arno does the vocals and, in fall, the band is again ready for stage. Since then, Coït is playing energic sets that are welcomed by the public.
Coït returns for a week in studio in July 2005 to record their new album "Brutal Fantasy" that is released in January 2006. And in December 2005 the band goes on tour in France and in Spain with Zeppo. Since then, Coït keeps on playing in the Swiss clubs and prepares the release of its new album "Between the lines" scheduled for the beginning of 2008.
