FRANCAIS: Roger Moore a été créé à Saint-Chamond (42) en décembre 99 à la suite des split des deux groupes de Roberto (Bloodlust 97-99 et Genital Suppuration 98-99). Le groupe était composé des même membres que maintenant (3 amis depuis le lycée Roberto et Ramirez en 94 et Plucky en 97) et de Fight (Weapon City Bratz, ex Benighted) à la batterie. Après quelques mois et une première démo enregistrée, Fight et Ramirez quitte le groupe pour d'obscures raisons de travail... Rottenfoetus (Johan le stripteaseur RIP) arrive à la guitare, mais sans batterie difficile de faire avancer le groupe. En 2002 après le retour de Ramirez à la guitare, nous décidons de jouer avec une boîte à rythmes. Nous enregistrons une split K7 avec Throat Massaker (projet solo goregrind de Roberto), apparaissons dans des compils (La mort nuit gravement à la santé, Halte à la répression...) et recommençons à faire des concerts. En 2004 le groupe sort son premier CD, en split avec Honk For Mass. En 2005 et 2006 nous continuons à faire pas mal de concerts et enregistrons des dizaines de titres en studio (agorasound avec K-rin et Laurent Navarro) afin de les sortir en 2007. Début 2007, le groupe sort 3 titres sur la compil ep Boumcoeur. Eté 2007, le split LP RogerMoore / Agathocles sort sur le label de Roberto (Redneck Trend Prod) Les autres titres enregistrés vont sortir fin 2007 début 2008 sur deux 4 way split CD. L'un avec Mesrine (can), Freaknation (esp) et Treppan'Dead (fra) l'autre avec The Mad Thrasher, Fatal Nunchaku et Koko Boys. D'ailleurs si des labels sont intéressés pour des coprod, ca peu se faire. Depuis janvier 2007 Roberto a arrêté de crier pour jouer de la batterie dans le groupe (lasser de jouer avec une boîte à rythmes), Plucky et Ramirez crient à sa place. Deux autres split CD sont prévus: Roger Moore / Praia de Vomito (bre) et Roger Moore/Mitch Buchanon K7/CD RogerMoore est maintenant basé à Yssingeaux (43) continu à faire des concerts et espère enregistrer des tas de nouveaux morceaux vers la fin 2008........................................................ .................................................ENGLISH: Roger Moore was created in Saint-Chamond (42) in December 99 following the split up of Roberto’s two bands (Bloodlust 97-99 and Genital Suppuration 98-99). The band was composed of the same members as now (3 friends since high school; Roberto and Ramirez in 94 and Plucky in 97) and of “Fight” (Weapon City Bratz, ex Benighted) the drummer. After several months and a demo recorded, “Fight” and Ramirez leave the band for strange working reasons… “Rottenfoetus” (Johan the stripteaser- RIP) comes up at the guitar but without a drummer, the band could not prosper. In 2002 after Ramirez’s come back as the guitar player, we decided to play with a beatbox. We recorded a split tape with “Throat Massaker” (Roberto’s one-man goregrind scheme), showing up in compilations; (La mort nuit gravement à la santé, Halte à la repression…) and we also resume holding concerts. In 2004, the band releases its first split CD with “Honk For Mass”. In 2005 and 2006, we continued holding quite a number of concerts and recorded more than ten titles in the studio (Agorasound with K-rin and Laurent Navarro) in able to release them by 2007. Beginning 2007, the band releases three titles on the compilation, “Ep Boumcoeur”. In the summer of 2007, the split CD; “LP RogerMoore/Agathocles” is released under the label of Roberto (Redneck Trend Prod.) The other titles recorded are released end 2007 and beginning 2008 on a two four way split CD. One with “Mesrine” (Can), “Freaknation” (Spa) and “Treppan’Dead” (Fra), the other with “The Mad Thrasher”, “Fatal Nunchaku” and "Koko Boys". By the way, if labels are interested in co producing, it’s possible. Two other split cd are in preparation: Roger Moore/Praia de Vomito (bra) and Roger Moore/Mitch Buchanon split tape/cd. Since January 2007, Roberto changed places from growler to drummer in the band (fed up of playing with the beatbox), while Plucky and Ramirez do the growling. Roger Moore is now based in Yssingeaux (43) and continues holding concerts while hoping to record many more songs by the end of 2008.
