The Painted Veil (epic and lush...love these types of films) Deja Vu (i thought this movie was awesome. don't know why it didn't get more hype. denzel at his FINEst!) The Lookout (flawless) 300 (pretty damn epic!), Only You, Pan's Labrynth (this movie knocked me out!! very satisfying and absorbing. see it!), Ghost, Sex and Lucia (a-m-a-z-i-n-g... see it!), Wings of the Dove (amazing film, and the clothes are to die for) Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (one of my FAVORITE movies...LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!- it never gets old.), Easy...(small, independent film i saw recently on one of the movie channels. thought it was GREAT!) on Little Miss Sunshine (just saw this one...funny and great! you gotta see it!!) Ask the Dust (loved it. great acting...salma and colin rocked), My Summer Love (this one REALLY drew me in. great perfomances. i thought it was amazing), Cape Fear, Desperately Seeking Susan (saw it in 1985 right when it came out in the movie theater. i was 15 and crazy about madonna. this movie reminds me of so many good things about the wildness and freedom of my youth and being a teenager in the 80's, which was just fucking fabulous. after all, despite reagan, the 80's REALLY WERE, the last hurrah!), V for Vendetta, Beautiful Girls (one of my all-time favs...man, rosie o'donnel's bit in the grocery store w/ matt dillon and timothy hutton just kills me!) Fried Green Tomatoes (just the best movie!...luv those southern tales), The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Notebook (one of my all-time favorites. so good and sappy. oh and that love-story, man!...luv, luv luv-it! and...ryan gosling's my movie-star boyfriend!!... god, that boy just does it for me!) Their Eyes Were Watching God (amazing and sexy), Heat, Unfaithful (I love adrian lyne films...this one is exceptional. such a beautiful film in the way it's shot and it's sensuality), Cinderella Man, Stealing Beauty (I want to climb inside this movie and live there for the summer), Good Will Hunting, Brokeback Mountain, Unbreakable, Bandits, Friends with Money, Lolita (another arian lyne. amazing, and Jeremy Irons is YUMMY. yummy in general, but maybe not so much in this particular film), Garden State...(ROCKS!!) A Home at the End of the World (Highly underated film about human beings, humanity, life and love. Impeccable performances. Colin Farrell just nails it.) The English Patient (love this love story!) The Station Agent (brilliant), Bend it like Beckham, I Heart Huckabees, The Ref (hilarious!), Sleeping with the Enemy (my comfort movie), double jeopardy (my other comfort movie), Office Space, Dying Young, The Pallbearer (funny and Michael Rappaport just kills me!) Elizabeth Town (i got it), Almost Famous, Transamerica (GREAT!), Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang, The Good Theif (oooohhhhh, really great! highly recommended...nick nolte. indy film. welll done in every way!)
