My Interests

My interests are reading books about successful business owners such as Michael Dell, the founder of Dell Computer.

Music:

I love reggae, calypso, soca, and of course R&B, and oh yeah, jazz. Old skool R & B is real tight, because that's when Black people were singing about love. Also, I miss hearing songs with real good bands. Hip hop use to be nice and easy to listen to back in the day (late 70's/ 80's). Hip hop from the East Coast (New York/New Jersey) areas was the bomb! Hip hop really became messed up when the whole West Coast gangsta culture became embedded into the music. I like Kanye West, however, because he appears to be the only hip hop artist that has something positive to say.

Movies:

I love to watch love stories, a good drama, and mysteries are fun to watch, because it makes you think and keeps you guessing.

Television:

Law and Order, Cold Case, Court TV, and ER. Also, most of the reality shows on BRAVO, such as Top Chef.

Books:

The Autobiography of Malcolm X and the Millionaire Next Door.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, because he died on the cross and took away our sins. My parents were and always will be my heroes, because of the examples they set. Most of the black history figures who were instrumental in uplifting the plight of Blacks in the US and abroad. There's more heroes, famous and not so famous I admire.
