Band Members: Me: Singing, playing keys, guitar, strange percussion on box fans, chairs, guitars, and anything else i think has a nice ring to it.
My 'Puter: making the beeps, boops, whizzing whirling and various other mechanical and electronic sounds that might happen while trying to record clean takes.
Influences: When writing for piano and / or voice (in my early days before I picked up the guitar) : My dad and my brothers Jim and Mike, Rachmaninoff, Victor Borge, old church hymnals, Billy Joel, George Gershwin, Bobby McFerrin, Collective Soul, Mettalica, Steelheart, Dream Theatre, Joni Mitchell, Nick Cave, Wierd Al, Days of The New, They Might Be Giants, many movie themes (John Williams and/or Danny Elfman,) and tons upon loads of various single tracks from the hit music of the time either on WAAF (Boston Rock station) or pop stations...I sang along to anything with a good melody.
I picked up guitar a couple years ago and ran with it. My influences grew. Jeff Buckley holds the biggest slice of the influence pie graph. Damien Rice, Incubus, Jason Mraz, Days Of The New, David Grey, Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds, Gavin DeGraw, Duncan Sheik, Johnny Cash, Daniel Johnston, Ben Harper, Ben Folds, Bright Eyes, and the list goes on.
