I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a lover, not a fighter. Laughter and positivity are always the best medicine. Life is too short so I try very hard to enjoy every moment/day. I’m 27 years old. Currently I’m taking a break from attaining my AA in Accounting. I work at the biggest hotel in Duluth, MN where I’m a Night Auditor five nights out of the week. I love to write poetry and spend time with my four year old nephew.

My Interests

Poetry, making crafts; I specialize in greeting cards and calendars. Twins and Duluth Huskies fan. When I can find someone to drag with me I also enjoy camping, fishing, and hiking/walking -alright I can walk on my own.

I'd like to meet:

Main requirement is being open minded; I’m willing to meet/chat with people who r mellow, respectable, and big-hearted. Aside from people in/around/near my element: I would like to meet Ellen DeGeneres, because she is so fucking funny in my opinion. H.I.M. because they make me feel better when I’m at my lowest. Any person related to RENT the movie/musical because RENT is totally AWESOME.

Music:

Open minded; A to Z. Examples of CDs I own: Air Supply, Beatles, Beautiful Girls soundtrack, Big and Rich, Cake, Cars soundtrack, Christian, Johnny Cash, Chamillionaire, Kenny Chesney, Kelly Clarkson, Creed, H.IM., Jane’s Addiction, Josie and the PussyCats soundtrack, Korn, Tim McGraw, Bob Marley, Jason Mraz, Now 1 - 11- 12 – 13 – 15 – 16 - 18, O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack, Pink Floyd, Ray the movie soundtrack, Otis Redding, RENT, Trick Pony, Shania Twain, Keith Urban, Rob Zombie. Along with the majority of the music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, & 90’s. Furthermore, I enjoy listening to my LP’s. Some explains: The Beach Boys, Cyndi Lauper, Don McLean, Footloose, The Mamas and The Papas, The Monkees, & Simon and Garfunkel.

Movies:

Action; always nice to see something being blown up, comedy, Drama; The Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, and American Beauty, scary/horror; like the classics - Friday the 13th, and sports movies; like the classic Hoosiers, Remember the Titans, 61, and The Replacements. Along with the common classics from the 80’s; About Last Night, BIG, Better off Dead, The Breakfast Club, 9 to 5, 16 Candles, St. Elmo's Fire, etc. Favorite movie of all time is Field of Dreams.

Television:

Dexter, Family guy, Friends, Law and Order; all three, Scrubs, Sex & the City, Six Feet Under, and general cartoon fan. I love the Discovery channel: How It's Made, MythBusters, & Dirtyjobs. I also enjoy the Fit the channel a.k.a. Fit TV.

Heroes:

My father, because he's still with my mother. J/K a little - mostly because he's a very very hard worker and remains positive.
