On June 24, 3006 MySpace listed this as "My Tarot Card" for the day and I rather liked it, so I will put it here for a while...Strength May courage be your ally. Deck: Cosmic? What has traditionally been known as the Strength card represents Nature which, however wild in its primal form, is tamed by our subtler, finer (feminine, interior) self. The will and passion of our instinctive nature does not need to be broken, but refined and brought to consciousness -- so that all levels of Creation, inner and outer, may come into harmony. The feminine soul-force contains a persuasive power that can nurture and induce cooperation from others, stilling disruptive energies by harmonizing differences in the spirit of collective good will.
I would like to meet most people, well most people that aren't fake, hypocritical, fanatical, institutionally insane, way too sane, stalkers, hermits, or extremely normal...did I leave anybody out. I think I just described all of my friends in one way or another. No, I like people. Hey that's why I really enjoyed bartending, you get to see all sides of all kinds of people. I tend to be drawn to artists of all sorts. Open minds are good, but not so open that the brain floats out.

I love punk music: Dead Kennedys, Misfits, Flogging Mollys, Dropkick Murphys... I also like some good ol "Texas Country": Casey Berry and the Live Texas Mosquitoes, Cooder Graw, Copperhead, Nathan Taylor, etc. Then there is all of the other stuff... The Cure, Enigma, The Enigma, Madonna, classical, celtic, love old 80's music. I lived through it, I have a right to like it (the 80's)! I have recently been introduced to some new stuff that I am digging on right now, including Jeff Buckley and Neko Case.
James Patterson is great especially the "Cross" books. I like anything strange and preferrably factual. I like a lot of nonfiction crime stuff like John Douglas. Then again there is way out like Douglas Adams. Anything that reads well really.
I am my own hero!!! My Mimma, because if I can be that crazy and still have a man love me for over fifty years I will be doing good, and she raised some interesting kids. Then again some days I could just kill her, but there is a thin line between love and hate... you have to care enough about someone to actually hate them... otherwise you just don't give a shit!My great grandmother Eunice Edwards, "Gran-mom" is a great influence in my life. she lived to be nearly one hundred. She spent all but the last few years on a cattle ranch in the texas panhandle gardening and raising beef cattle, as well as having oil and natural gas wells. She lived to see many things, she didn't have an easy life, but loved the one she had, and thought the world of her family.
