About Me

Forever is an independent feature-length psychological thriller/horror film shot in less than 12 days with a total budget of less than $1,500. Directed by Paul Del Vecchio, Written by Paul Del Vecchio and Douglas Frye, and Produced by Steve Gagliano and Paul Del Vecchio. Paul and Steve did the editing, composing, Visual FX, Makeup Effects, post production sound design, foley, cinematography, lighting... in short... everything.

Synopsis: Micheal (Brian Brady) wants to find the next big technology that will change the way we live our lives. While experiencing desperate financial trouble, Micheal is paid a visit by a stranger (Steve Gagliano) with an answer to his needs. Desperate and curious, Micheal accepts.
Director's Statement: Forever is my first feature film. My co-writer and I wrote the first seven pages together, starting on a Sunday. By Wednesday that week, I had finished the script. It was written in such a short amount of time because we had to go into production almost immediately. We had access to a haunting and beautiful house (built in the 1930's if I recall correctly) but we were told it was going to be demolished in September. It was already the middle of July so we had literally two weeks to come up with an idea, write a script, cast, and schedule the entire project. After the script was written, we went ahead with casting. Once the cast was in place it was already around August 3rd. We began shooting the first Sunday of August 2005 and shot every weekend that month, including on my birthday. As it turns out, the destruction of the house was postponed and we were able to go back for reshoots and additions to the script.
I'm so glad we had this great opportunity to make a feature film and work with many talented and awesome people. In particular, I'd like to thank:
My fellow filmmaker, Steve Gagliano, for all the time, help, support, inspiration, and dedication in making this project the best it could be with what we had and the situations we were given.
Brian Brady for taking the lead role and putting in your time and effort and putting up with our unusual no-budget filmmaking ways.
The beautiful Charlene Miller for putting in the time, effort, dedication, and, again, for putting up with our unusual no-budget filmmaking techniques.
The beautiful Veronique Chalarca for allowing us to drag you around and kill you. You're a good sport and great to work with! Thanks for putting up with that long day of waiting and abuse! Hahaha...
All my friends for helping out on this picture. You were a great help. Jon, Drew, Chaz, Erin... thanks.
My boy, Abe, for giving us the heads up on the location! Thanks so much! Henry, Jay and your family for allowing us to shoot in your beautiful home!
Everyone who participated in the making of this project.
Everyone supporting us. Thanks so much! We really appreciate it!
I hope everyone enjoys the final product!
