Mary Jane Watson

To be a woman is to hide every emotion you might have ever felt. It is to feel nothing.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

This is me. The real me.

My name is Mary Jane Watson and this is the abridged story of my life.

My story isn’t really worth reading about. It isn’t much different from your story or anyone else’s. I’m a girl. I go through the daily little dramas that life brings ranging from breaking a nail to dealing with family life. I love a man and I have a job. But I suppose if you were to really examine the fine details of my life, you might find it a tad bit interesting…

I was the second child of Philip and Madeline Watson, born in Pennsylvania. I guess you could say my parents were pretty well off in the financial department. Well, they were in the beginning. My father had a special love for alcohol that ended up consuming him and all of our family’s money. His love for alcohol became violent and that, coupled with our lack of funds, caused my mom to snap. My mother was a strong-willed woman but when it came to love, her willpower always seemed to fail. It took her awhile to gather the nerve to leave my father but that decision alone was probably the best thing she could ever do for herself and her two little girls.
So we left my father. Me, my mother and my big sister Gayle roamed from relative to relative, trying to find somewhere to stay permanently. It was scary business roaming around the US, dodging my father at every corner but we had to do it. In time we ended up at my Uncle Frank’s home in New York City, just around the corner from my sweet Aunt Anna and the neighborhood’s wonderful Aunt May along with her nephew, Peter Parker.

Peter Parker. I don’t think anyone at Middleton High knew him on a first name basis. To everyone he was just Parker or that nerdy kid in science class but to me, he was so much more. He was the guy I could run to whenever life got tough and I didn’t have to pretend that everything was alright. Even if it were for only twenty minutes every night, those twenty minutes were what kept me going.

He was my best friend; is my best friend to this very day and you know what else? He’s that man I fell in love with. What’s better than falling in love with your best friend?
…Everything!
He was there for me through it all.
And when it came time… I was there for him too.

Now, whatever happened to this best friend of mine? He’s still hanging around, somewhere. As for me? Well, you should know where I’ve been. Walk around Times Square, look up and chances are that’s where you’ll find me.

…No! I meant you’d find me on a billboard! Geeze.

I wish I could tell you everything but if I did I would be getting a lot of people into trouble. Don't think I'm anything special, because I'm not. I've had my fair share of abductions but that doesn't mean anything. I'm your average American girl, trying to make it as an actress. Nothing more, nothing less.

wutcha gonna say... ?
