About Me

Who, ME? Just a 50yo Male Human living on a Pale Blue Dot (Thank you for the vision Carl!), the third planet of an average main sequence yellow star near the edge of (but not inside of) the Sagittarius Arm, located approximately 8.5 kilo-parsecs from the center of a non-assuming average spiral galaxy we call the Milky Way Galaxy (MWG). It is known by other names elsewhere. I love Rock & Classical Music, Science and Technology, especially Electronics Engineering, Astronomy, Physics etc., and I am self-employed as an Electronics Design Engineer and run my own engineering consulting business "MicroDyne Engineering, LLC" (www.microdyneeng.com) from a home-office in Arizona. In my spare time, I care for my aging Parents living near me who are, after my excellent Daughter, the two most important persons in my world. I love to hang at the local rock pubs. I play elect. guitar (1977 Ibanez Flying V) and used to be a professional musician many years ago. But I gave that up, cut my hair and got a REAL job... Never made much money performing. UPDATE: I'm growing it long again! ; Btw, I've been blessed with Tourette Syndrome. It can sometimes be a real pain in the ass! I guess we all have our little crosses to bear... ; Favorites: Favorite foods are: Mom's sourkraut, beef stew and her Chicken & Rice w/ Broccoli; Chinese & Thai food; Baked salmon; Steaks (cooked med rare); Fresh steamed veggies, and Chocolate!, Chocolate!!, Chocolate!!! Oh - did I mention Chocolate? Least Favorite Foods: Asparagus, cauliflower, peas, escargot, raw oysters ...anything slimy that slides, wiggles or crawls, not to mention Okra (reminds me of snot; not sure why...) ; Favorite Colour: Blue ; Favorite Number: 69 (come on... this one's obvious...) ; Favorite Animals: Cats, Tribbles ; Most Favorite Person In The World: My Precious and Beautiful Daughter Ashley - (Likes to go by the name Alex) ; Least Favorite Person In The World: George W. Bush and George W. Bush. Oh, did I mention George W. Bush? ; Most Favorite Sports: Skiing, Sailing, Camping/Hiking, Deep sea fishing; Auto racing; Russian Motorcycle Ice Racing ; Least Favorite Sports: Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer (i.e., anything that involves running around in circles chasing stupid little balls and hurting people) - "Why is it that people have this compulsive fascination about balls?" If I try hard, I might be able to see the entertainment value, but it's a stretch. ; Favorite Songs: "Into The Arena", "MSG" 1980 Chrysalis Records Ltd.; "The World Anthem" Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, 1978 CBS, Inc.; "Baroque & Roll", "Attack!!", Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force, 2002 Pony Canyon, Inc.; "Love To Love" UFO. ; Currently Listening To: T.M.F.; 454; Lincoln Park; 9 Inch Nails; Fred Green!!!; Tool; Enya; CORN; Children of Bodom; Michael Schenker (MSG); Yngwie Malmsteen; BACH; Mozart ; Rachmaninov; Itzhak Perlman, just to name a few... ; Most Recent Good Read: "Einstein's Universe" by Nigel Calder (ISBN 0-517-385708), and "Contribution to Inertial Mass by Reaction of the Vacuum to Accelerated Motion" (Rueda, Haisch: SAL-97-12) ...yeah I know, boring as hell. But I like it. ; So, that's me in a nutshell! ; Story at 11:00 ... ; - Kaplah! -

My Interests

See "About Me"

I'd like to meet:

Women:A girl/lady/woman that's a female version of ME! Especially a musician or scientist! Someone who is confident and with her own sense of self respect; isn't clingy, and has her own goals and a mission in life. I MUST HAVE intellectual discourse with my lady or my brain will rot, so she'd better have a few working synapses up there! It would be sweet if she was employed, and doesn't expect the guy to make all the moves. This excellent lady will be seeking a mate to be as her equal, sharing all the goods and the bads, and wants to (at least) consider the idea of having a life-partner upon whom she can trust and rely on who will never knowingly hurt her in any way. Age is probably of little concern in our "enlightened society" (yeah, right!), although a younger lady may be more open minded to new ideas and less set in her ways. I will NOT try to change her; she will NOT try to change me. Friendship and love will progress naturally, and once I fall in love with her, it will be permanent! My Mate will hopefully love kitties, motorcycles, music, chocolate and have at least a passing interest in science, space, and the many grand things of the Universe. If you are Russian or from Eastern Europe, Austria, Hungary, etc., I promise I will honor you by learning your language! And any hair on your legs is usually a major turn-on. DO NOT SHAVE IT OFF! After all, it's natural! (I can just hear the American girls saying, "Ewuooooo!"). Nylons or makeup does nothing for me, so you could save yourself the trouble. But whatever makes YOU happy and feel comfortable is most important! ; I calculate that my chances of finding my mate in here are about as great as winning the Mars Lottery... (lottery, Mars, what??? - is this guy nuts?) -ed- ; I had thought Theresa was "The One", but I guess the Universe had other plans... ; I had even thought that Dawn was "THE ONE". Nope! Wasn't meant to be. Here was an example of a person totally absorbed in fear, suspicions and doubts; one who would rather confront the world rather than live in harmony with it. I wish her long life, peace and health. ; So I have for the past three years been thinking about Brenda Eaton, a lady I knew way way back in the High School days. We dated (I think you could call it that...) for a few months, then she moved to Grass Valley to take care of her Grandmother. Meanwhile, I go on the road with my band. I had my wallet stolen on the road and in it was my only phone number for her. That was that. The years passed and always I have had Brenda in the back of my mind. We had a cool situation going, and I think I had made a good impression. Indeed, my chances of finding her are extremely remote since females usually give up their last names when they marry. Maybe she'll find me in here - maybe in Classmates-dot-com, or even reunion-dot-com, but I think the odds are quite against it. Besides, she's probably married with kids and having a great life somewhere in Brussels. But still I think of her. Hey - I can hope, can't I??? ; So I continue my search for a Human Female (animals, aliens and cage dancers just don't quite cut it) who wishes to experience intense love and companionship, with hope, and with the optimism that goes with being a creature of this Universe. If God is all about love, and we are the creations of this God, then should we not experience love as well?Are YOU "The One"?Gotta get back on my axe... ------------------------------------------------------------ - Other People (male / female): Enya (she's the only musician who can make me cry); Michael Schenker; Ingwie Malmsteen;
