Hi there, my name is Eileen. I've been playing guitar now for over twenty years now. I come from a non musical family, but my Mom did play the radio all the time. I’ve always had a very strong attraction to the guitar. I took violin lessons in elementary school for about a year. As a teenager a cousin of mine had a guitar (Fender Bullet) and a little amp that he lost interest in and he let me borrow it! I spend hours on end with it, just trying to figure out how to play. He let me use it for a while but eventually I had to return it to him. The following year for Xmas my parents bought me an acoustic guitar. I learned how to play on that little steel string, I had a how to book, and I would watch playing the guitar with Fredrick Noad and I got thru the 1st book, and after that I wanted to rock. I wanted to play like Eddie VanHalen. I learned a lot from all the different guitar magazines especially the ones with songs transcribed. I finally got an electric guitar and I tried taking lessons at local music stores but that didn't seem to work for me. I knew one scale and I started to learn and attempt to play leads by watching and listening to other guitar players, I would go and watch certain bands and sit close enough just to watch and listen to the guitar player. Finally one day I met up with my now guitar sensei David who is one awesome shredder of a guitar player. I got to actually hang out and jam with him, getting to jam with a player of his caliber did wonders for my playing, and he took the time to write out all these different scales for me to learn.....he definitely helped my playing by leaps and bounds…. I've been jamming and playing guitar ever since. I'm always learning and progressing my skills, the possibilities are endless. The desire, need, and love for it doesn't go away. ............. ..I play guitar for Fullhouse,I've been playing with Fullhouse for over 8 years.
