P.toile

Spinning records since 1993, Claudia aka P.toile decided to open her own record shop in Kiel, Germany in 1998. Alongside the record shop she set up the events Groove Complex with her partner Kai Hallebrandt bringing artists like Terranova, LTJ Bukem, Jazzanova, Smith & Mighty, Rockers Hi-Fi, Patrick Pulinger, Kabuki and many more. The Groove Complex allowed Claudia to gain tremendous experience behind the decks in front of some large audiences. Her experience with her own store and her events immediately landed her a position at Discograph (record distribution) upon her arrival in Paris in 2001. She was hired as an Internet editor and Coordinator as well as handled the booking for The Lizard Lounge and Somo Club. In 2003 Claudia aka P.toile started the booking agency Clique Bookings in Paris and has been started to handle the booking for international artists like Pan/Tone aka Sid LeRock, Jeff Miligan, Dirt Crew, Tom Clark, Tigerskin ... to name among others. In the spring of 2004 she relocated to Berlin and immediately started to work for the No-Ufos team doing booking for the club Sternradio. In January 2005 P.toile's first release Stick-Lip on Trenton Records got charted in Groove Magazines Top 50. With a remix from Frank Martiniq (Boxer Sport) and Pan/Tone the record was sold out right away and with such a positive response P.toile is now working to bring us some more fresh sounds in the spring. P.toile's djing brings us a very smooth, technical precise and funky mix.
