I met Gruff Rhys from Super Furry Animals, he turned up at a gig I was playing at in Camden when I was in Emery. I was so starstruck meeting him I barely had a word to say to him, he offered me a crisp! Maybe another chance to have a decent natter, he saw and liked us though! Woohoo!
Favourite bands are Super Furry Animals and Led Zeppelin but I think you need to be eclectic, different tunes for different moods init! Listen to lots of jazz, reggae, ambient, love music from the 1920' and 30's eg Fred Astaire, quite liking Bluegrass at the moment. Last listened to Beatles Love album it's freshened the songs up having a mess around with them, I like it!
Pulp Fiction, Blues Brothers, Amelie and most recently Kung Fu Hustle, It's a Wonderful Life more to follow when I remember. Favourite actor is Humphrey Bogart so lots of his films would have to feature in my favourites such as: Casablanca, In a lonely place, Key Largo, Maltese Falcon, Sabrina there's so many I love! Last saw Casino Royale at the flicks thought it was great!
