I've come full circle...incontinent and drooling.

About Me

O.K., it's been awhile since you've seen anything fresh on my ol' site...well, don't hold your breath, 'cause it'll probably a bit longer. I'll try to come up with something fresh and mo' photos and of course my usual nanny berries aka bs. That usually tears folks up or makes them wet their pants. Guess it's all in how serious you take yo'selves. I've gotta get my legacies on here as my world would be uneventful without them...Today was a gorgeous, sunny, be yourself kind of day (welcomed after all of the dreary weather and tough luck we've been having).I really enjoyed pointing out REALITY to people who have permanent blinders attached to their heads here in the wholesome climate of Giles County, Tennessee. Hey, if they get perturbed about not getting their way right when they want it, that's tough! I just pointed out that if I had to wait my turn, they need to wait for their turn, and that's THE AMERICAN WAY (shoot, darlin', THAT'S LIFE! Get over it...) The world doesn't revolve around them. So, OBAMA's going to depend on Al Gore for environmental issues?? Lordy,lordy...that's a good 'un! Met Al Gore when he was a senator...NOT IMPRESSED. What did he do about the environment when he was Vice Prez of the U.S.A.? Hmmm, perhaps I'm having one of those memory farts... Ya'll take care, watch your backs, and throw a little kindness out to those who look like they need some and won't suck out your soul in the process. Carpe diem! Zsa Zsa ;} (if ya'll don't know what carpe diem means, just put it into search. It came from my cousin Paul in Paris, France. Don't feel dumb, I had to look it up. That's how I learn. 4-6-2008A LONG, LONG TIME AGO, IN A DISTANT GALAXY...Well, I guess it's time that I wrote something in this space... I'm just a human being that has made some good and some lousy decisions in life. When I commit, I commit. I try very hard to keep promises that I make. I'm loyal and will fight for the people I love and of course, the underdog. I'm not good at dealing with sociopaths and sorry arses. I feel sympathy for people, kids, and animals who cannot help themselves, are in poor health, or have been abused. I can empathize for others, but if they're able to help themselves and don't kick it into gear to try to change their situations, I can only be a sounding board for a short time (I've got a full plate myself). I don't depend on others to make me laugh. Raised as an only kid since I was 5 (when we lost my big brother), I learned to enjoy my alone time by reading and doing all kinds of things. My Mama let me know that there were too many things to do and experience in life and that the word "BORED" was not in our vocabulary. I find humour in most situations I encounter (I think that's what's pulled me through a lot of really crummy times). I've found that my son and daughter and the little things in life have brought me a lot of joy. Seeing the world through the eyes of a four or five year old is far out. I'm not a complicated person...the little things mean a lot...a child's laughter, an ol' folk's smile for a hug or compliment.I am impressed by honesty and not by the materialistic* (see note after my farewell). A person who is unselfish is refreshing in these times. The wind blowing through my windchimes, the red tailed hawk who lives with her young 'uns in our woods and soars above us, birds singing their little hearts out, the hummingbirds tapping on the windows when their feeders are empty, the owls talking to each other up here in the woods, the deer and turkeys trekking through our place, wildflowers, sunsets and sunrises, helping my critters (back in my homesteading days) by midwifing and doctorin', Spring and Autumn, a gentle rain on a tin roof, etc. I think you get the point. I'm not a great game player when it comes to screwing with peoples' lives, and refuse to participate in that (let's leave the melodrama to teenagers and professional actors/actresses). Life's too short. I'm too blunt and honest and would make a terrible politician. I can shoot the bull with the best of 'em, but gets old after awhile. I am very much used to a dry sense of humor and appreciate those who go that route. I don't like being in a rut. I love to try foods I've never eaten before, and that goes pretty much the same with music and new adventures. I'm an ex IBM brat who had to move a lot. My Mama knew that I'd really missed California and the West, and told me that no matter where we moved, we could find beauty if we wanted to. She was a really cool human being, and I wished that I would have appreciated her more when I was younger. Something she said that makes sense was "Bring me flowers while I'm alive and can enjoy them, not when I'm gone...". I guess that's all I've gotta say about that.ALOHA AND SHALOM TO ALL... Zsa Zsa ;}*(Confession here...when I was 17 and my gal possee and I headed down to D.C. to people watch (in my 1958 V.W.), I WAS IMPRESSED BY A HIGH END PORSCHE. IT DID NOT CHANGE LANES LIKE ANY OTHER CAR I'D EVER SEEN! IT JUST SLID SIDEWAYS. Of course the "old guy" (must have been 30...LOL)driving it wasn't aware that I had "The Poor Girl's Porshe" (and it was paid for!) O.K. enough of confessions for now...Layout Provided By CodeMyLayout.com - Myspace Layouts

My Interests

ONE TIN SOLDIER- BILLY JACKListen, children, to a story That was written long ago, 'Bout a kingdom on a mountain And the valley-folk below. On the mountain was a treasure Buried deep beneath the stone,And the valley-people swore They'd have it for their very own. Go ahead and hate your neighbor, Go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing Come the judgement day, On the bloody morning after.... One tin soldier rides away. So the people of the valley Sent a message up the hill, Asking for the buried treasure, Tons of gold for which they'd kill. Came an answer from the kingdom, "With our brothers we will share All the secrets of our mountain, All the riches buried there." Go ahead and hate your neighbor, Go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing Come the judgement day, On the bloody morning after....One tin soldier rides away. Now the valley cried with anger, "Mount your horses! Draw your sword!" And they killed the mountain-people, So they won their just reward. Now they stood beside the treasure, On the mountain, dark and red. Turned the stone and looked beneath it... "Peace on Earth" was all it said.Go ahead and hate your neighbor, Go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing Come the judgement day, On the bloody morning after....One tin soldier rides away. Go ahead and hate your neighbor, Go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing Come the judgement day, On the bloody morning after....
