About Me

History is a wheel. 'Inconstancy is my very essence,' says the wheel. Rise up on my spokes if you like, but don't complain when you're cast back down into the depths. Good times pass away, but then so do the bad. Mutability is our tragedy, but it's also our hope. The worst of times, like the best, are always passing away

My Interests

I like writing. Reviews, opinion pieces, features, sketches, interviews, anything. I enjoy socialising with friends, though they are muchly scattered so I have to go to different places to do it. Gigs are one of my favourite things to do ever ever ever. I have seen many bands. I am trying to gain a certain level of fitness, so I've been doing a bit of jogging. I also like bike rides- fuck those hills! I have the odd drink here and there.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Are you ready to be heartbroken?

Movies:

Television:

Doctor Who is awesome. So are The X-Files, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Futurama, Spaced, My Name is Earl, Arrested Development, Simpsons, Scrubs andmanymore

Books:

Catch 22 is my favourite book. I can read it again and again. I like Jasper Fforde's books, Terry Pratchett gets better and better (esp if Vimes is the main focus). Kurt Vonnigut (sp) is pretty good. I'm too tired to remember more now.

Heroes:

No more heroes anymore.

My Blog

The disappointment of next year is already here

I've been holding off, hoping I wouldn't feel this way, hoping that my opinion would change the more I listened to it. But my view on 'A Weekend In The City' by Bloc Party has to be faced sometime, an...

A minor rant

'How's the 'Tage?' 'Coming out in the 'Tage?' 'Had a wicked night down the 'Tage!' Yes, today's rant will be solely based on those who refer to Wantage as 'The 'Tage'. Basically, if you do use this...

Fair weather football fans

Yes, I'm in that catagory. I don't give a toss about all these league games, but I do like watching England playing world cup games. Today's was obviously the first, England vs Paraguay. The first hal...
