About Me

I'm embracing myspace as the full-on juggernaut of self-promotion that it is. all that social networking stuff can be done over on facebook. i recommend it. it doesn't crash so much.
so less about me as a person and more about ways in which you come and look at me play records. and possibly dance. i'd much prefer it if you superficially engaged with me in this manner, as opposed to spying at me from afar over a computer keyboard.
I DJ around colchester and occasionally further afield. you can find me at these places:
every tuesday in v bar i play whatever comes to hand between 8pm and midnight, and occasionally bring a guest dj along for the ride. it's free. there's drinks offers.
every thursday i play at MILKSHAKE in room 2 of route nightclub. i essentially play the indie bits, but usually diverge from that course at some point in the evening.
two fridays every month i play at GIGANTIC in colchester arts centre. it's a giant indie fest of classic tracks and new favourites.

My Interests

highways jammed with broken heroes, last chance power drives.

I'd like to meet:

i'm firmly in the 'never meet your heroes' camp, so as long as you're not my hero you'll be alright.
also, if you're in a band and want to play at milkshake or gigantic let me know and i'll consider you...

Music:

as a great man once said: "hot funk, cool punk, even if it's old junk, it's still rock and roll to me." i think it's notable that he didn't include drum and bass in this statement.
here's what i listened to last week:i recommend you join last.fm if you haven't already.

Television:

fuck tv. let's have another list of bands instead.

Heroes:

speedo, vince vaughan, nick cave, bill murray, spiderman.
