I like listening to music, but that's not really as much of an interest as it is just something I like to do. However, movies interest me. For example, Easy Riders wasn't that great of a movie, but it showed how some things were during the time that it was made. Another one is Birth of a Nation, which I haven't watched yet. I think it was made in 1928, it shows the Civil War from a different perspective.
I have a thing for alcohol also. I enjoy tasting different kinds of vodka, whisky, rum, and so on. So far, there's so many choices for vodka and I love trying them, but my favorite right now is Belvedere. I like Patron tequila, but it's too expensive to drink very often. There's more, but I'm not going to ramble on about it.
Political issues interest me. Not all of them, just the ones that interest me do.
I'd like to meet:
"Your mother" has been used by so many people and I hate doing the same thing as everyone else. I'm sure "your sister" has too. "Your father" and "your brother" both sound gay.
I'd like to meet somebody like me, but I don't think that there is anyone like me. I've met people that seem similar atfirst, but I guess that's a thing about people, they are completely different once you get to know them.
I guess interesting people will have to do.
Music:
I like music, it can sound nice. I like all kinds of that stuff. I do have my preferences, but yeah...
Movies:
Twin Warriors, Kiss of the Dragon, Romeo Must Die, Fist of Legend, Storm Riders, So Close, Vampire Hunter D, Perfect Blue, Suicide Club, Battle Royale, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Shaun of the Dead, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Italian Job, The Fith Element, Big Fish, Varsity Blues, Evolution, 8MM, Ocean's Eleven, Gone in 60seconds, Interview with the Vampire, Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, The 13th Warrior, The Professional, Gladiator, The Count of Monte Cristo, Boondock Saints, Last Man Standing, Suicide Kings, The Untouchables, Tombstone, Desperado, The Last Samurai, Mosters inc., Shrek, Ice Age, Punch-Drunk Love, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, The Ladies Man.
To make it short I left out some movies. I'm a big fan of Martial Arts movies, Robin Williams movies, Jim Carrey movies, Bruce Lee movies, Quentin Tarantino Movies, Jackie Chan movies, I know I named some Jet Li movies but his too, there's more and I'll name them as time goes on.
I've been watching a lot of classics and enjoying them a lot.
If anyone needs a suggestion of a good movie, let me know what kind. I may have a good suggestion.
Television:
South Park and every now and then a sitcom or two. I'm not the biggest fan of of TV.
Books:
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, American Gods, Good Omens, NeverWhere.
Heroes:
I've never really had any "heroes." Off the top of my head, I'd have to say one of them is Martin Luther King and the people that followed him. Rosa Parks just died, so I was thinking about that yesterday. What Rosa Parks did was great, but, from what I understand, if it wasn't for King boycotting buses, it would have just been another black woman going to jail. Instead King did boycott buses and all of those people walked where they had to go and they stuck with it until things changed.
I can't imagine people doing anything like that these days and that's sad.
