Apart from spending all my weekends out till the early morning and barely remembering the night before, there is another side to me.I'm a bit of a nature freak, underwater life in particular. Seeings as I do not have my SCUBA license as yet, snorkeling is my number one past time, especially come Summer. I'l spend hours under water and most of that time is spent at Shelley Beach just south of Manly.I probably spend a little too much time on my car as well. I have a Peugeot 306, which gets a very detailed clean, polish and conditioning somewhat often. It is something my girlfriend Brooke cannot stand.
There isn't anyone in particular I would like to meet. I just want to be sround people who love to have fun and can see the funny side of any situation.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment
The electronic music coming out of the EU at the moment is amazing. Thankfully electro has had it's 15 minutes of fame and now the tech and minimal scene is really starting to rise.Artists like M.A.N.D.Y, Booka Shade, Williams, Claude Von Stroke, Sebastian Leger and Sander Klieneberg to name a few, are up there in my favourites.Locals like Mark Dynamix, Telefunken, Ember, and Deepchild are doing thier part for the Sydney team, remixing and spinning the world's greatest DJ's and producing high quality tracks.Other names of mixed genres to mention would be Tiesto, Armin Van Buurin, Daft Punk, Freeform Five, The Presets, Midnight Juggernauts, Wolfmother, Jack Johnson, Cut Copy, Kanye West, Little Birdy, End of Fashion, Live, Van She, Jamiroquai, John Mayer, James Morrison, Frank Sinatra, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Toxic Avenger, Soulwax, Pink Floyd, Oasis, Mylo, MSTRKRFT, Eskimo Joe, John Butler Trio, Digitalism, Bloc Party, Crowded House and Axwell.Ofcourse there are hundreds more, but thats just a sample of what I'l be listening to if I have any chance.
I don't exactly have much time to go and see movies so there won't be much for you to read here.I will say that Blue Crush is one of my favourite movies.Up there is also Jarhead, 300, Mr Brooks, Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Carribean (all 3), Disturbia, Flags of Our Fathers, Letters from Iwo Jima, Point Break, Scarface, Blow and Sin City.
The best thing channel 10 has done is started broadcasting Californication. That show is great.Sea Patrol is another one of my favourites, as is Water Rats. It's a shame they cut Backyard Blitz, that was awesome on a Sunday night.I just wish I had Foxtel so I could see more of MXC, Family Guy and American Dad.
I havn't done much reading at all since finishing school.Apart from the odd "Guide to Sydney Fishes and Marine Life", I have read and enjoyed Anthony Kiedis' Autobiography, "Scar Tissue" and Peter Fitzsimmons' "Kokoda" and Kate Holden's "In My Skin"
