Shortly after realising his limited dancing skills, this young hot cue cheese greater of a dj turned to the other side of the decks, quickly mashing up Sydney’s music scene for the better.
Years (6 or 7 ish) after grabbing his first set of cdj's he soon realised too much sleep had been lost and readily picked up spots at clubs across Sydney. He was shortly snatched by Yu Nightclub as their Friday night resident slash co-runner of the now massive monthly “Make Or Break” party with Mr Alex Dimitroff himself and soon after discovered the surprisingly well worded Zooky in a gutter outside Havana Club De Luxe. After a few rounds of shots he began weekly set slots at the party orientated club upstairs. Years after carrying too many cds to too many gigs each night, it wasn't until 2007 that Ember coined his own unique sound, a fucked around party chopped up cheesy haphazard indie ish electro mash, which some how works... pretty well most peoples say :)
Young to the scene, yet already voted 28th (Australia Wide) in the 2007 ITM TOP 50 DJ’s poll, 13th (NSW - State Wide) in the 2007 ITM TOP 50 DJ’s poll, 2nd most popular "Up & Comer" in the ITM - Sounds On Sunday Selector, you can catch Ember playing sets across Sydney from Tank to Havana, from Yu to Sounds, every week.
Having already supported the likes of Justice (Live), Cajuan, K.I.M, Jonathan Wall (Fuzzy), Goose (Live), Mr Oizo, MSTRKRFT, Digitalism (Live), Busy P, Jo Mills (Ibiza), Sandy Rivera, Nick Littlemore, Acid Jacks, Paolo Mojo, Hot Chip (DJ Set), Ajax, Jaime Doom, Gus Da Hoodrat, Damage, Dangerous Dan (Bang Gang DJs), Yelle (France), Hook N Sling, Carl Kennedy, DJ Delicious, The Melbourne Militia (John Course, Andy Van, Dirty South, Grant Smillie), Bagraiders, Potbelleez, Aston Shuffle, Poxy Music this new addition to the industry isn’t showing any signs of slowing down :)

“Ember kicked it off, keeping the crowd entertained and hyped. Although the place wasn’t quite full, everyone seemed to be enjoying the afternoon sun and his unique style. Even though he’s only twenty-something, he’s got amazing skill and he showed his versatility by serving up everything from upbeat electro house to what I would describe as almost ‘bouncy’ techno. Needless to say, his set was anything but boring.”

Ember had control of the decks, and the party people for that matter, and I sidelined myself at the back to hear what was going on. What a set! MAKE OR BREAK MARKS ITS FIRST YEAR

The 10th of November 2007 marked Make Or Break’s first birthday at Havana. After a year of killer parties initially at Yu, then spinning off to Havana towards the years’ end we made it to number 12, and it was fucking massive. In the party’s first year we’d run through over 100 birthday parties, had 10's of 1000's of people through the door each month, booked over 72 different DJ's, 3 MC's and 2 Bongo Players, and many many many muchly to many drinks. Basically the night was kicked off by Mr Alex Dimitroff and myself back on the 26th of October 2006 at Yu nightclub, all for the place, the people, the drinks, some more dannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnncing and juuuuuuuuuuumping around on couches and forgetting what the fuck happened the night before the next day, the next day, about the night before. We’ve had a lot of fun so far and really don’t plan on stopping :) thankyu all for a year of fucking major fun’ness and killer parties! haha many more to come!

Really really appreciate the support, all the votes counted, first year nominated and jumped in at number 28 Australia wide, and 13 NSW wide. Was a massive mindblow to see my name pop up thou haha so thnks much much muchly for the help!




PLAYED PARKLIFE 2007

A massive massive massive massive massive massive amount of thanks to everyone who managed to wake up on that Sunday morning and be at the water stage around midday for my set! Know they kept everyone in line at at the gates for a while but was wicked seeing everyone pile in there when I was playing! Thankyou all an absolute Fuckload!! You guys are Fucking Legends!! So so so much fun, supported the likes of Justice, Digitalism, Busy P, MSTRKRFT, Goose (Live), KIM, Cajuan, Jonathan Wall and Ajax in one day, infront of thousands of peoples! Loved it :)
