I am here for Friends

About Me

Myspace Layouts An ageless, tymeless icon. Eternally seeking Truth, Justice and, when necessary, the American Way. I have been many things. A dad, husband and son. A student and householder. A forest dweller. A wandering sage. A hero. A rogue.A Philosophy and International Studies Major, and erstwhile lawyer specializing in criminal defense, i now find myself agitating for The Greening of Planet Earth, The Terraforming of Mars and the Decriminalization of...ahem...victimless 'crimes', ( um..like motorcycle helmet laws); or any other law which restricts freedom of action or thought UNLESS said law bears a direct, rational and balanced relation to protecting public safety.Having faith in the 'Big Guy', I am non-demoninational, (agnostic i guess); and ascribe to the ideas of people like Martin Buber, (see: his book, "i and Thou"); and live, consciously and/or not, according to the metaphysics of 'karma'; and understand that what comes around goes around; and believe it! So I pray to the God of Abraham, Allah, and Jesus. Just in case! Still...and honestly: i think we all learned the basics of right and wrong by kindergarten. And i think that the 'Golden Rule' is as relevant today as it ever was. Maybe even more so.

I am thankful for my friends.... past, present and future; and for those who have loved me....past, present and future. But alwayz I have enjoyed meeting exciting new people.
