Music:

Alternative used to be the flavor of the day,,,but now I tend to gravitate towards jazz,,,,sultry female vocalists ,,,Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Joan Armatrading, Lizz Wright, Tracy Chapman, Diana Krall, Ella, Etta, Lupe,,,,and smooth as silk crooning of Dick Haymes, Johnny Hartman, Abe Quigley, (check him out on myspace!), Michael Buble, and David Gray to name a few.... there's something about country music that makes me puke a little,,and Techno and Rap just make my ears bleed so I'll pass on them.,,,,but there is always room for a side order of Metallica!!!

Movies:

I don't care for much of what is offered these days,,,but if I had a choice I would want something that made me think about life and the infinite journey we all share from one passage to the next,,,,(I haven't seen that one yet),,,,,so as usual I'll settle for some cute arse black and white flick that excludes the infamous yet gratuitous sex scenes of posed passion,,,those, I/we can do at home.....fave films...."Bringing up Baby"...."Monty Python and the Holy Grail"....

Television:

....24....that's about it! Oh,,,,and I have NEVER owned cable TV,,,,just not enough on the idiot box to capture my curiosity

Books:

I can read a cook book cover to cover with the same intensity as some read those sappy romance novels,,,,
