Extended Network BannersI'm a volunteer firefighter for my hometown fire dept. (all-vol. dept) and I'm a full-time Lieutenant FF/EMT on another dept. about 15 mi. away. Definitely not for the money, but the simple satisfaction of knowing that I actually do a job that can make a real difference in someone's life.
I'm really a great guy and very easy to get along with. I have a very long temper fuse (don't get mad easily), and I consider just about everyone an automatic friend, unless you do something to cross me first.
I have a great sense of humor, in a perverted sorta way, so don't get offended if I start crackin jokes about you, or coming up with sexual innuendos just out-of-the-blue. I can dish it out just as well as I can take it. Make a joke about me, and I'll come right back atchya with a joke about U or your mama!

I'm also a storm spotter for The National Weather Service-St. Louis (HUGE Thanks to Jim Kramper). I've had photos posted and have been featured in magazines with full-page articles. I absolutely love chasing severe storms (which the NWS officially does not condone and/or encourage) and I do it every chance I get, although I don't get many chances to travel very far to catch em.

I actually love going to antique/estate auctions. I've worked as a Clerk/Ringman for Harman's Auction Center in Shipman, IL. since 1990, and I also list their upcoming auctions on www.auctionzip.com. My dad & I have been dealing with antiques since I was about 10 years old, and I've been an ebay powerseller (SELLER ID: fireman712000) for several years, so that keeps me busy too.

Star Wars, Matrix, LOTR, sci-fi, horror, comedies, some dramas (Ladder 49 kicks ass)..... pretty much anything as long as I'm not gonna fall asleep in the first half-hour. If the critics like it, then it's a pretty safe bet that you should avoid it.

Television:

NASCAR, CSI, Law & Order SVU, WWE, UFC, Fox News Channel; I'll try to catch any Poker tournament on TV; also the Rams or Cardinals when I have a chance. I'm a big trivia game-show junkie (qualified for Millionaire 4 times but never got the callback for the show).

All of my fellow firefighter/emt/police personnel out there!!! You know who they are..... the people who work in all kinds of weather every day of the year. Just because it's 100 degrees or there's 12" of snow outside, doesn't mean we're not gonna do our jobs of protecting property & saving lives.
