THE FOLLOWING BIO APPEARED ON THE NOW DEFUNCT WWW.POWER921JAMZ.COM UP UNTIL NOVEMBER 2007...AN UPDATED BIO WILL APPEAR IN A NEW LOCATION SOON...The "Ro Show" featuring Rosetta DeVine, and co-starring the thousands of loyal listeners, arrived on the airwaves at its current location of 92.1 on the FM dial after ten years of growth and reincarnation. A triple threat in her own way and right, Ms. DeVine enjoys the challenges of balancing the duties of mother, actor, and radio personality. Known to the youth of the city as "Ro Digga", she reaches out to the community by speaking to school children; and relates to the women of the demographic with a familiar sister-friend attitude. Rosetta began in Richmond radio at then urban contemporary station WPLZ Magic 99.3 FM. As the station's "jill of all trades", she floated among the shifts and garnered experience and fans along the way. Playing classics from the likes of Luther Vandross and Stephanie Mills on 104.7 KISS FM came next. Then Ms. DeVine hopped one state over to try out Rhythmic crossover music at Maryland's WOCQ OC104. She finally found her calling and her home at WCDX Power 92.1 FM. Rosetta DeVine can currently be seen interviewing Damon Dash during the Rocafella weekend special on BET; acting in the Tim Reid-directed film For Real on TV ONE; and featured on the cover of local urban culture magazine VA Vibe.
