I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

About Me:

Well, you found me on MySpace. So here are a few of the various online services and sites that I frequent, as well as a few websites of my own. Professionally, I'm using LinkedIn.com for networking, which has gotten good reviews in the technology press as well as Business 2.0 and the Wall Street Journal. For social networking, in addition to MySpace I'm also on FaceBook , since I have old friends on both. And I'm using Google Reader to monitor RSS feeds, and to share any and all articles that I find interesting.

I do have a blog , hosted on Blogger, that I'm still in the process of getting started. My Google Reader shared links gets a lot more frequent attention. For instant messaging, I use the all-in-one program Trillian , which centralizes and streamlines that particular service. And, I'm a pretty heavy user of Amazon.com, which is where I host my wish list for gift ideas.

Finally, there are a number of websites that I've created and maintain:

Omega-TKE.com As an alumni member of the Omega Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon frustrated by the difficulty of getting in touch with other TKEs, I channeled that into creating this site. This site is also on its way to becoming an official alumni resource.
The Synchronicity Arkive Ever heard of the urban legend about the match between Pink Floyd's album Dark Side of the Moon and the Wizard of Oz movie? Find out more about this and other weird stuff here. Back in 1997, this site even landed me on MTV News to be interviewed about this synchronicity.

So, in a nutshell, that's me around the web.
