Don't mess with Flipper Brown!

About Me

Yeah, I know . . . it's a music page, right? Well, I'm a musician in my soul and so it makes sense. I've fronted or collaborated in a lot of projects over the years: Rip Gypsies (Alternative/Grunge), Crimson Hollow (Rock), Ravenloft/Kicking Water (Alternative), Garden of Souls (Alt Rock), Sleepwalk to Truth (World Music), Pagan Lovers (Industrial/Goth) Zooropa (U2 Tribute),Bluez N. D'Skyz (Rock/Blues) and now Wicked Garden (Stone Temple Pilots Tribute). I currently spend most of my time with Garden, some with Zooropa and Wicked Garden every month. Why so many things, you ask? Because they do something different for me. Garden is my crooner/rock n' roll/creative outlet, Zooropa and Wicked Garden are money and fun. I'm hoping one of these days soon to have some options as to which path of pro musician I can take, but right now I'm sticking with what's in front of me. I have a loving wife, Pam, who supports my journey and friends and family that love and understand me, so I'm pretty fuckin' lucky in that regard. Have a good job and cool co-workers to boot and I can honestly say that life at this moment in time is as near perfect as I can get, so no complaints here. Come for the freak . . . stay for the food.
