About Me

I'm a free spirit. When I want to do something, I do it, when I want to go somewhere I go. I do what I feel and I dress how I feel and I simply can't be anything else but Rachel. Excuses mean nothing anymore, work can wait, rent can wait, it all can wait except living. I love to travel, go on crazy, sometimes random adventures, I'm a little of a loner, for lack of like-minded individuals, but have great friends none-the-less. I dance anywhere, any chance, and any time I get (which is very often), love reggae and go to every concert I can. My Interests

Anything live music related (ie, concerts, especially at RED ROCKS!)my dogs and animals in general, some partying if the mood is right. And when it is I DO it to it. The paranormal, art...Corvettes...the whole mellow, reggae culture, reggae in general, being warm, the beach, JAMAICA, retro-culture, burlesque and pin-ups.

I'd like to meet:

People who influence my life, I want to see how they live and who they are. I want to meet fun, kind, happy, dance-y people and other people that love reggae music. Positive people, I have no time for other such silliness! I would quite enjoy meeting some of my fave-or-ite bands and such, and Bill Clinton. And Tony Montana. I don't care if he's not real.

Music:

Mellow music: reggae, classic rock, dub, 1960's acid inspired music... Slightly Stoopid...The Doors...Marley...Tom Petty, The b Foundation, Pepper, good stuff. Hard rock and really "intense" music kind of gives me anxiety...

Movies:

Any scary movie, practically. Anything Quentin Tarantino, Guy Ritchie, Wes Craven, Tobe Hooper, or anything horror, gangster/hitman-esque, or just in general odd. Scarface took the number one place from Pulp Fiction as far as movies go. I love movies, I'm always buying DVDs.

Television:

I really like prison documentaries and other documentaries. Those E! shows about dysfunctional families are amusing, I fell asleep and woke up to Rob and Big...LOVE THEM. Too awesome.

Books:

I love too many books to count, but to name a few: "Through the Looking Glass", "Animal Farm", "Grapes of Wrath", "To Kill a Mockingbird", and "Gerald's Game" and of course, Jim Morrison's "American Poet".

Heroes:

Bob Marley because he lived his life the way I strive to live mine--free, with love, and happy. Jim Morrison because his words and music inspired me and my art, he showed me not how to live or how to be, but what ELSE there could be.
