It's Happiness

"It's Happiness" all started with a spec commercial for Pabst Blue Ribbon . After spending the afternoon with volunteer polka dancers, Craig DiBiase and Timm Gable of Stun Productions were approached by John Pinter, and asked whether they had ever thought of making a movie on polka. The answer was, no.
But after visiting with Pinter over the next couple of months, going to a couple polka festivals and holding a weeks worth of interviews, "It's Happiness" was off to a grand beginning.
Over the next 14 months, DiBiase, Gable and crew: traveled to several major WI polka festivals, captured 120 hours of footage, drank from a shot-ski , flew in a 2 passenger plane, were taught polka 127 times, danced with women whose ages ranged from 5 to 95, drank a beer or two or 700, hit a deer, interviewed Willie Nelson ... on his bus, became friends with jimmy sturr- who has 15 grammys, ran into (literally) john mellencamp, hung out in an ambulance , ate pig testicles, slept in the smallest hotels known to man, learned how to check a cow for pregnancy, got blisters from dancing, realized the majority of our friends were in the aarp, fell in love with polka and wisconsin and MOST IMPORTANTLY... made THIS MOVIE!! enjoy.
