I am here for Friends

About Me

I am a full time seminary student at Truett in Waco and it is a wonderful place to be (it's good that I feel that way because I will most likely be there for quite some time). I am also a pastor at a small country church near the town of Meridian. The folks there are truly unique in their own right. I have a feeling that when it is all said in done, they will have ministered to me just as much as I have to them (that's the way church is supposed to be anyway!). I'm married to a "sweet teacher lady" that steals my heart everyday I see her. In summation: I am blessed.

Life Lesson

A refried beans sandwhich (meaning refried beans spread on to a piece of bread) does not taste good.  You might think that it would, considering that beans and tortillas go together, and tortilla...

An Honest Confession

I came across an interesting quote in a novel entitled Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz.  While this novel is simply a work of fiction, and not seemingly attempting to promote any obvious religi...
