I make my own jewellery thats kind of a hobby, Im very into my films and games (I am actually addicted to computer games, once my mum had to take my playstation off me and hide it cause i stayed up 48 hours straight playing final fantasy eight :S) and I like playing with Bernard, getting drunk, dancing like a loon and being a member of the limelight quiz champion team!!
Zach Braff cause he unwittingly introduced me to the shins, and is kinda like Bernard only a wee bit better...sorry bernard xoxo. Demitri Martin because he is hilarious and reminds me that I am NOT the only one with a warped and twisted sense of humour :D
Metric, The Shins, Bat for Lashes, OLD Snow Patrol (polar bears and maybe when its all over) Reindeer Section, Coldplay, Cake, Flaming Lips, Duke Special, Feeder, Beck, CSS, Massive Attack,Jose Gonzales, Bjork, Sufyan Stephens, Martina Topley Bird, Feist, Frou Frou, One EskimO, Regina Specktor, Span, Interpol, Guano Apes, Imogen Heap, Head Automatica, Imogen Heap, Stina Nordenstam, Portishead, Iron and Wine... etc etc etc etc etc etc...
Oh God where do we start! I am a real movie geek so much so in fact that I have several catagorised top tens as opposed to the normal persons one. Ill resist going on for ever and just list my favourite movie of all time which is without question True Romance, it has everything you could ever possibly want in a movie: mexican standoffs, suitcases full of cocaine, pimps, mafiosos, gratuitous sex scenes, a whirlwind romance, elvis, kung fu, and a scene where Patricia Arquette beats James Gandolphini to death with the lid of a toilet cistern...honestly what more could a girl ask for.
HEROES!!! Charmed, CSI, House, Lost, Scrubs, Greys Anatomy, Prisonbreak, Green Wing ( I have a bit of a thing for Stephen Mangan) God there are loads but Im not going to list them because that just proves that I watch too much TV
Books are another big part of my life (anything distracting really) I am a big fan of sci fi and fantasy novels, I enjoy a good P.K Dick Classic or one of Robert Rankin's madcap comedy/science fiction/crime/fantasy novels (particularly the seven books of the Brentford Trilogy, yes seven book trilogy - no mistake) I dont really have a favourite book because I read so many really good books but if I HAD to pick id probably say Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes or Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' though thats a series of books, (but given that I very narrowly avoided failing my GCSE's because I became so lost in them id say they have to count as a favourite book. Awful ending though... I spent a WEEK (yes, I am that deranged) crying over the ending (which i wont elaborate on because you have to go and read it right now. Dont go and see the film, its awful!
