Positive Vibes, Entertainment, and Good Music. They have been the background of DJ Flesh's mission when it comes to music. While growing up he embraced his heritage and culture. He grew up spending his summers and Christmas vacations in Jamaica. There he was inspired even more to make music. He started writing lyrics towards reggae and hip-hop music. While in Crown Heights and East Flatbush, he began to step more towards hip-hop music without leaving his roots behind.
In 2000, he attended Long Island University where he then joined the college radio station, WLIU-BK. There he met his djing mentors, Garry G, Dom-Nice, Prince, Majestic, and the Voice.
In 2001, he began to dj at LIU functions and then went on to DJ professionally around the city. Flesh joined up with Dom-Nice, Prince, and Majestic and they became the Hitmen Sounds Entertainment (Click the blog for more info). He has played at many spots in Manhattan and Brooklyn including, C-Pac, Seho Lounge, Mars 2112, and Deep. He also became an on-air personality and Music Director for 3 years at WLIU-BK Radio. There he made his contacts and moved further within the business.
The student has now become the teacher inspiring many young up and coming dj's in the art of musical entertainment. Nicknamed 'Fadda' (father in patois), he and the Hitmen are prepared to show the world what their made of.
