About Me

I made this layout with help from pYzam , Look at these other Layouts!

I moved here from Indianapolis in August for a teaching job - one of the best choices I've ever made in my life. Now I'm trying to piece together a life of my own in the ol' ATL and figure out who I am. Nothin' like being 25 and figuring yourself out. I guess that's better than being 45, 55, or 65 and doing it, eh? A wise person once said that you only know who you truly are in the past because you change from second to second. Now tawlk amongst yowselves...

Music:

I'm sick of my music. I listen to (in random order) New Found Glory, Dashboard, Saves the Day, Jimmy Eat World, Get up Kids, Yellowcard (saw them in '99! I win!) Cartel, Hit the Lights, The Early November, Hellogoodbye, Cute is What we Aim For, Better than Ezra, Toadies, Bush, Nirvana, Avail, Alkaline Trio, Aqualung, Ataris, Billy Joel, Counting Crows, Eagles, Fall Out Boy, some Hawthorne Heights, Jack Johnson, James Taylor, Journey, Mae, Panic, Relient K, MxPx, Postal Service, Starting Line, Weezer, Yellowcard, etc. (Can you tell I broke out iTunes?)

Movies:

This might tell you something about me... these are the 4 movies I own: When Harry Met Sally, Space Balls, Beavis and Butthead Do America, and Super Troopers. Hmmm... I guess I'm a lot of funny mixed with a dash of sappy romance. A meal in under 30 minutes! Well done, Rachael!

Television:

Friends on TBS Monday and Thursday from 8 - 10, and America's Funniest Home Videos whenever it is on (aka all the time), Naked Science on the Nat. Geo. Channel, documentaries on anything... space, ice, spiders (that was terrifying), animals, strange babies with two heads, tall people who live in the Ukraine... you know... the good stuff. (And I shed a tear b/c I will never be a member of the Tall Club - the requirement is 6'2" and over... I lack 1'8"... *tear*)

Books:

Breakfast at Tiffany's, Milkweed and Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli

Heroes:

I miss the rolling hills of New Zealand. :*(
