After 2 years with first releases, In 1999 French artists Didier Sinclair and D'Julz got back on to the Serial Records team bringing a more deep and tech-house sound. The successful "Lovely Flight" by Didier Sinclair (more than 40 000 tracks sold in the world) and "Dragon Dub" by D'Julz will confirm the artistic quality of the label. At the same time the Soldiers of Twilight (Dj Rork, Demon Ritchie and Lady Bird) released their first maxi more deep and vocal.
Follow then a branch of international signatures, collaboration with international Dj's, and obviously a world wide distribution.
Again in 2002 one of the track is selected as the French anthem for the Techno Parade of the year. It's "Indie Walk" by Dj F.E.X. A single cd is released and it will stay top charted for 12 weeks in the French chart. "Believe" the most popular deep-vocal track of the Soldiers of Twilight is also released. More than 10 Remixes will be done by French and international Dj's such as Fred Everything, 20/20 Vision, Martin Solveig, Miguel Graa... The song is not only playlisted on many radios in Paris but also by Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, Frankie Knuckles, Kerri Chandler, Dj Gregory
Serial Records' success never stopped increasing. In 2003 new French artists jointed the team like Tom Pooks (who played several times alongside Carl Cox). Then SERIAL decided to released a first opus gathering the best of all the tracks from the label since its creation: "Ivan's Cube mix" by Dj Bertrand, "Dragon Dub" by D'Julz, "Indie Walk" by Dj F.E.X etc... This compilation mixed live by Mathieu Bouthier "French do it ...better" is extremely successful. The "French do it ...better"act2 (gathering now a lot of unreleased tracks and a few old hits) still mixed live by Mathieu Bouthier is released on march 2004 and a promo-clubbing tour will go all over France for more than 3 months.
Then, Muttonheads joigned the label : first track to you is strait away playlisted in the top 10 chart, by big djs. The track is released in CD single with a video clip.. His two others releases Smashing music (2004) and Ill be there (2005) has been another dancefloor & radio massive tune.
In 2005, Didier Sinclair & DJ Chris Pi are back with Heavenly, another hit with a videoclip for this guys with a Sharam Jey remix. The track is licenced by News (Belgium), Alphabet City (Germany), Planetworks (Greece). Soldiers Of Twilight continue to be remixed by most wanted producer like King Britt, Charles Webster, Oscar from B.O.P. End of 2005, Serial Crew, Release Need U. The track is directly N1 to the buzz chart played by Pete Tong&Judge Jules and playlisted in big radio in europe Cd single release is previous for 2006.
2006 serial records has licenced for France Ben Macklin Feel together. based on a Culture Club sample, the dj promo tips are fantastic...Remix by Tom Novy, Lifelike, Tom Novy and ....One of the tune for sure in2006. In 2006 the very expected Soldiers of Twilight's LP "The S.O.T Experience" and the Didier Sinclair & Chris Pi's LP will be released...and of course Serial Records will continue to develop its most famous artists.
Needless to say that in a few years time SERIAL Records has became on of the most popular independent underground label all over the world, gathering all kind of house music: deep vocal to funky and electro house music. SERIAL will keep on bringing its "French touch" all over the world dance floors.
