Raised in the Manchester underground throughout the ninties -- Firesyne's love of dance music started by listening to close friends Dj-ing on local pirates and parties. Acid house and Hardcore jungle was fresh and new and his world was turned upside down by tracks like last rythm -- 4am -- know how "young Mc" -- The Touch --Predator-- Playin with knives -- -Ready or not -- Cool down-- Terminator --(too many to mention). Too young to rave -- Fire used to sneak out of his house in the early hours to run down to his mates ware they were having sessions after returning from events like jungle fever, hysteria,dreamscape,helterskelter,kinetic etc.
Deeply intrigued by this unique sound and movement it was at this point he new he had to get involved.
Mixing seriously started around 1998 with a old set of belt drive gemini's -- being a perfectionist Firesyne practiced hard to master the art of mixing. Still intigued, the journey on the road of production started with a engineering course in manchester from 2000-2001.
Annoyed by the lack of studio time Fire decided to put his production on hold till he could aquire enough equipment to build his own lab.
Fast forward to 2006, by this point he had gained experience with local radio production, worked on over 60 concerts as a stage hand and audio tech, promoted a series of different events throughout Manchester with his boys K-plex and Dj-blend and moved to london for family reasons.
It was at this point his lab began to develop and provide him the opportunity to excercise the knowledge he had built up at that point.
A chance meeting led to the collaboration with talents such as KAPTIVE/DJ KRAY-Z/MC BAMSKI.
SONIC INTUITION was born, origially founded a few years before by FIRESYNE and his brother LIBRIL, this was the perfect ground to establish a unit of artists under one banner.
Jumping to 2008 -- The SONIC boys have secured two club residencys and two internet radio shows. Played alongside people such as Jumping Jack Frost, Mickey Finn and Darren jay , Slipmat and Dj Sy. Plus a plethora of upcoming talent from across the UK.
Concentrating heavily on mastering there own sound the boys have a series of tracks on lockdown waiting to unleash. With a indepth website underdevelopment and a london monthly on the cards -- Watch out for FIRESYNE and SONIC INTUITION in the future.
