About Me

Obey your lawful master! When the U.S. Army is at war: The backwards flag is symbolic of the men who used to march into battle with an actual flag. So steady and strong that the flag would blow behind them. The flag displayed on the right arm of our soldiers today faces as if being carried into battle, blowing behind them.ABOUT ME: I am really easy going, but I think my cat might be getting a little psychotic. He thinks he's Lee Harvey Oswald.I love hanging out with friends, partying and laughing all night usually at someone's expense. I love sarcasm and cynicism- hey, I am from the east coast... so I am a bit of a wise-ass. I love my parents and my friends are awesome. For employment, I am in the Army Reserves as a combat medic and for my civilian job, I work in a hospital in the inpatient pharmacy primarily mixing together drugs that are given intravenously. So, yeah, I am the guy puting the morphine, the antibiotic or vitamin in your I.V. bag to make you feel or get better. In the Army Reserves, I medically treat soldiers who have been wounded in combat or are in need of immediate medical assistance and academically I am pursuing an advanced degree in the medical field-leading some people to think that I might be a little clean cut--- hardly. I have tattoos and I have had body piercings and I have been in all kinds of mischief throughout my life but have managed a somewhat successful academic career. I am very open minded and tolerant and nothing really shocks me. I actually started my education in commercial art/fine art at Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C before making a change into the medical field. I love indie music. I love music that is heartfelt and passionate like punk and metal, as well as classical and industrial. I love art, black and white photography and I love animals-I have two cats, an aquarium and would have a dog if my building would allow it. I am mostly just trying to meet interesting new friends on myspace, keep track of old friends scattered throughout this blue planet and meet interesting people that share my values and interests. I am not talking about so-called "traditional" moral values either. I am talking about social values as in the right for everyone to have access to healthcare, unrestricted freedom of religion or the right to not have a religion, unrestricted freedom of speech, a right to privacy and the right to do whatever we want to our own bodies without social and institutional exclusion/persecution. Tattoos and piercings SHOULD NOT be used by employers, schools, government institutions, Armed Forces to RESTRICT employment. To not hire someone who is qualified simply because they have tatoos or piercings is a violation of our rights at many levels. My girlfriend Nancy and I run a business that promotes underground punk and metal bands and hip urban fashion here in the Portland and Seattle area. Music:

Discordance is beautiful - the creepier and more depressing the better, if David Lynch -Trent Reznor - David Cronenberg- H.R. Giger were in a band together and played industrial/metal-Radiohead-like music with Wagner composing then that would be my uberband , really into Interpol techno/industrial remixes right now, She Wants Revenge, Sonic Youth, Indie/Post Punk, Combichrist, Nine Inch Nails, Danzig, Slayer, Mercyful Fate, Lamb of God, Zombie, Rare Blend, all kinds of industrial shit and techno crap, Witchfinder General, Dead Kennedy's, Bad Brains, Bad Religion, Hatebreed, DMX, The Roots, Dr. Octagon, EPMD, Public Enemy, Radiohead, Portishead, Machine Head, Motorhead,Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies, Corrosion of Conformity, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Jilt. Some Alt-Country, Front 242, KMFDM, Killing Joke, My Bloody Valentine, Prong, Starlit, Jeff Buckley, Bach, old Dandy Warhols, N. Actually, the word "artist" is too narrow, too limited of a word when describing his work. Those that care for sick and injured animals. John Stuart Mill quote - "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing for which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." -John Stuart MillSalvador Dali's dirty mind Spencer Tunick photo shot in Lisbon, I love the symmetry of this photo Spencer Tunick picture in Barcelona's Institut de CulturaI like the feeling of floating. The Story of Countess Bathory: Read about the gory details in my blog section. Countess Elizabeth Bathory had beautiful young virgins killed, took their blood and organs and made cosmetic products out of them thinking that it would preserve her youthful looks! The Iron Maiden pictured above.Pictured below is the tower which still stands today in southern Europe where she was imprisoned. The Tower in which Countess Bathory was sealed.
