About Me

My name is Timothy but nobody really calls me that. And that's fine.
I'm 6'2, have reddish-orange hairs, and mainly green eyes.
I live in Flint, MI.
I use most of my free time doing these things:
running (at band)
biking
surfing the web (trying to be a lifelong learner or trying to find new music)
sports
talking on AIM
listening to and making music/noise (depending on your tastes in music)
and going to good local shows (which have been few and far between lately).
working on lawnmower engines
re-finishing drums
playing guitar hero
I can play most band instruments but am only advanced on saxophone. I used to play drums in a band and can play guitar/bass too. I could do piano I guess, but would have to practice it a lot. Obviously, I'm a band geek.
I do 2 things to build capital:
I work as a "Tutor of Students At-Risk" (just call me "The TSAR") during the day at the middle school. I really like it. It's fun because there's always something new, it keeps me busy, and I love the kids. Although, with Lunchtime Homework Support, I'm sure some of them won't love me back~!!
I work as an assistant band director by night. I used to volunteer my time. Now they pay me to be there. How cool is that?!?!? I In fact, I think I eat dinner with band family more than with my own family! I'm eating with them less so far this year--it gets expensive and makes me fat.
If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a nerd. A really big one. I get excited about science and history and other brainy things like that.
I want to get advanced degrees in meteorology, environmental geology, paleoclimatology or paleoecology. I need to decide soon...but I suck at decisions.
