Bob Malkowski - Sound Engineer/Musician
I have been playing and performing music all my life, coupled with my fathers influence in electronics, it was inevitable the two would combine at some point!
Following a three year study, Graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Music Technology in 2001.
Since then I have enjoyed constant work within the fields of music, engineering and live production.
Bob The Musician

I've been playing music ever since I could sit on the stool of the family Hammond organ :)
I am a mutli-instrumentalist, profficient in disciplines of keyboard/piano, guitar, bass guitar, and majoring in drums and percussion.
My first major break came upon joining electro-pop outfit The Modern in 2004. The band were not soon after signed to Mercury records. I subsequently enjoyed 2 years of touring, and recording, some 200 gigs including Ibiza's Manumission club and the Reading and Leeds Festivals.
In 2006 I left the Modern and joined the band New Skin for their support slot on Gary Numan's tour of USA/Canada.
In January of 2007 I was asked to contribute to the acclaimed Industrial band 'Inertia', as a recording and touring member of the band.
This cuminated in the band's album 'Inertia', and on a five week tour of the US promoting the album. Latterly I came on board full time as a member of Inertia.
In December 2007 I guested as a guitarist with Sisters Of Mercy alumnus 'James Ray' and his '25 men' project at the March Violets re-union gig at Leeds Metropolitan university.
Recording History
Have recorded as a drummer with a number of the world's top producers including:
Tore Johansen (Franz Ferdinand, Cardigans etc.), Jeremey Wheatly (Sugababes, Good Charlotte, Goldfrapp etc.), Stephen Hague (New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure etc.)
I am a featured musician on Inertia's album 'Inertia' alongside members of the legendary band 'Killing Joke' and 'Client E' of the electro band 'Client'.
Percussion overdubs on UK electro band 'Blue October' on the forthcoming album 'Walk Amongst The Living'
Engineering History
Assistant engineer on numerous classical projects including St. Petersburg Philharmonia conducted by Maestro Gurgiev 'nutcracker suite'. Also, assistant engineer on 5.1 mix of Luciano Pavrotti 'Ti Adoro'.
I have also worked on a number of Rock and Metal recordings producing, engineering, mixing and mastering where required. Most notably I was brought in to assist Interlock in elements of their album 'crisis//reinvention'.
Live Sound
Bob continues to be in demand as one of the UK's most experienced live engineers of Industrial music. In addition, Bob has a wide experience of mixing everything from female vocal groups through to Norwegien Black Metal!
Examples of artists Bob has previously worked with include:
Alec Empire

I am a frequent engineer around London, guesting at venues such as The Garage, Mean Fiddler, Camden Underworld etc. Whilst in addition being a resident engineer at London's infamous Electrowerkz venue in Islington.
I am also experienced as a touring engineer, travelling internationally providing dependable, reliable and repeatable results from venue to venue.
