Larry Crider II was born on July 1 to Rosa L. and Larry J. Crider Sr. He is the youngest of three children. He loves the lord with all his heart and strives everyday to please him. Larry gave his life to God at the age of 8 and was anointed at a very young age with the gift of music.He has been in church all of his life. He attends First National Deliverance in Washington D.C where Mattie H. Johnson is the pastor. He serves as one of the drummers,and pianists for their worship service. He also serves a musician for the praise and worship team “Chosen Praise”. He is an anointed director,keyboardist, arranger, musician, and currently working in composition. Larry has been privileged to be apart of different organizations in school such the marching band for 6 years as a percussion player. He also joined the Largo High School Choir, under the direction of Pastor Jeremiah Murphy. He has served as a member the choir’s band, band leader, student director, and a soloist. He also joined the group of GIFTED, under the leadership of Cristopher Randolph and became an original member and music director .He has also shared time with God's Verison an upcoming gospel recording group. Larry has been privileged to share the stage with artists such as,Pastor Jeremiah Murphy, Dr. Diane White, Cristopher Randolph and GIFTED, Karen Clark-Sheard, Tremaine Hawkins, and honored to perform before gospel legend Richard Smallwood. He also played for Bryon Cage in February of 2006 at the Gospel Heritage Conference held at Reid Temple A.M.E. He is a graduate of Largo High School. He is the director for the Voices of Praise youth and young adult choir and the newest adult ensemble "Timeless" at Largo Community Church located in Mitchellville, Maryland. He is also the Director of Berkshire Elementary School Chorus. He is the one of the Asst. Directors for the First National Gospel Choir.He is currently employed as a vocal music teacher at Berkshire Elementary School. He has traveled to different states such as Ohio, North and South Carolina,Pennsylvania,Illinois, and New York. God has truly been better then good to him. God continues to use him despite his tribulations and setbacks. He has had a lot of obstacles to overcome in his life. But he believes what the song says" I just can't give up now, I've come to far from where I started from, nobody told me the road would be easy and I don't believe he has brought me this far to leave me." With God’s blessings, he wants to become a recording artist, one day start a record label, and most importantly, allowing God to use him to minister to people the good news of Jesus Christ, that souls might be saved and restored.
