Brett Gould & Adam Lee met through their passion of music while working for a record company in London & formed a DJ / Production partnership in 2004.
Even before their paths had crossed they had graced the decks in some of the biggest club nights across the UK, Europe and even as far as India. They have played alongside big names such as Danny Rampling, Deep Dish, Sonique, Paul van Dyk, Ralph Lawson & Paul Harris to name but a few.
Last year saw The Persuaders on the same bill as The Freemasons, Alex Gaudino, Tom Novy, Mark Wilkinson, Out Of Office, Luke Dzierzek, Soul Avengerz & CJ Macintosh.
2007 firmly placed Brett & Adam as one of London's club scene's biggest up & coming dj talent as they blew away every promoter they worked for. No more than Kidology head honcho Mark Wilkinson who not only loved what they do on the decks, but poked his head round the corner as they were finishing there latest track & snapped it up immediately. The Persuaders are now Kidology UK & International residents and with there latest track currently under lock & key thier name on the International circuit is not far away at all.
When it comes to past achievements they have a CV longer than most upward spiraling dj's. Historically starting with a weekly residency at Philip Salons exclusive Mud Club at Bagleys in London. There biggest gigs include Kidology @ The Cross, Kinky Malinki @ Turnmills, Plush Da Funk @ Pacha, The Yoshitoshi/Ministry Records Party at Pacha in Ibiza, Miss Moneypenny's in Birmingham, Space at the Cross & are now regulars for the infamous Electronic Sessions party's. The lads have also been finalists in 3 major competitions (Ministry Of Sound x 2 & Passion x 1).
Thier skills don't just lie with the decks either, there past production releases have done massively well & have recieved hype chart placings. In the past they were known under the guise of Spacetribe and there awesome progressive track was compiled to an album mixed by Andy Morris from Kiss Fm.
The lads have done various radio work over the years including Ministry of Sound radio, featuring on the Atomic Hooligan's (menu sessions) show.
2008 is now looking to be a big one as The Persuaders are spending more time in the studio, currently being produced by Richard Searle (X-Press 2, CR2 & Dab Hands). With all this happening & an album release soon to come the name of The Persuaders will be on everyones lips.
