Reign Of Swords is a power/heavy metal band, featuring heavy guitars, high vocals and relentless drumming, blending the tradition of power metal's past with a new, heavier edge.
History:
Reign Of Swords began as a side project, mostly for fun, when guitarists Dave "The Chef" Hutson (Ten Masked Men and Gridlock Takedown) and Ross White (Descent and Head On) got together one day and thought "You know, we could make a really good power metal band together".
So over the next few months the two started putting a few songs together, while on the look out for other band members. Mark "The Mauler" Hutson (Ten Masked Men), then jumped on the project to play bass, while various drummers and vocalists were auditioned. Soon the project started to take a more serious turn.
Eight songs later (and after a recommendation from a common acquaintance), Achilles Hilmi (Abgott) was brought into the project to start recording vocals in the summer of 2004. The band was still without a drummer at this point, and it was a long time and several demos later that a capable drummer was found in Sterghios Moschos (Lost Legion, Pantheist) in late 2005.
Finally the band is ready to start rehearsing the material and preparing for a live gig near you!!
